Yep,
I agree, because I will not vote for any you have listed.

Even with his nutty Ideas, I would still vote for Ron Paul, before any of those listed above.

I went with Romney.

The Idi Amin Jr. contingent will savage Hillary if she contests on 2012. By the time the general election rolls around, the RICKAMAVEN types will be voting for Green Party / Nader candidates as opposed to voting for the Clintons again.

Gingrich is damaged goods. He is a fair-weather conservative who breaks commitments when he thinks no one is looking.

Palin - despite what everyone thinks - will not run for President. She is WAY more effective as a fundraiser and "spoiler" (for lack of a better term), and she knows it.

Idi Amin Jr. is toast. They can stick a fork in the chicken to see if it is done.

That only leaves Romney.

If the economy turns around in a big way and Obama runs, he wins.
But, if the I truly am not entirely certain Obama will run for a second term. If not, Hillary gets the nod for the Dems, not Bidden.

Reps won't touch Palin with a ten foot pole. She will become caustic to their cause with her Tea Party involvement. I seriously doubt Romney will get the nod. Do they really have anyone 'Presidential"?

Romney. America has already accepted a foreign born Muslim as Pres so why not a Mormon. Plus he has great Presidential hair.

I could go for Haley Barbour,
but Huckabee will never get my vote. He is a smoke NAZI, and a hypocrite. He was my Governor, and sucked at the job.

Unless a dark horse with money emerges out of nowhere, Obama gets four more years. Watch 'em and weep.

I Bloody, I think Obama has a close lock on a second term if and only if we come out of the recession in time with unemployment dropping by a noticeable amount. Personally, I don't care for any of those listed. I am just concerned about one party havving control of both the House and Senate, and the Presidency.

You can also look at it from another angle as well. If he gets us into more nation- building, are threatened by either a new boogie monster or actual domestic terrorism, OR the current depression gets more severe (gas prices, unemployment, etc.), panicky/desperate voters will opt to go with the politician who excels at feel good, populist, anti- big business politics. And don't forget that the Democrats have the illegal vote in the bag. I don't say that lightly. They are continually getting thousands of new registered voters via their DMV registration for driver licenses. These are mostly in the Obama camp.

I don't care for any of the "professional politicians" listed either and I've also abandoned the idea that to get things done you need a Congress & Presidency from the same party at the same time. I think most people have come to realize that was a big mistake & will revert back to splitting the power by electing 800 pound drunk gorillas from each of the two political columns to bring home the bacon while the country's fat fries.

A few matters of concern regarding Romney (besides the obvious):

1. He's only garnered 41% of the popular Republican vote during the primaries (56% of the delegates however);
2. Mainstream Republicans on both ends of the spectrum such as the liberal Giuliani & the conservative Fred Thompson had refused to endorse him so far;
3. He's weakened Republican support across the board & enforced the stereotype of "party of the rich" by building a new mansion with an elevator exclusively for cars.
d'oh!

A vote for the lesser of 2 evils is still evil. If you vote for Romney, you are part of the problem and not the solution. Not trying to be a ******, Jack, but it's the truth.

Romney = Obama

On all the really BIG issues they are exactly the same.

Perpetual war
Destruction of civil liberties
Deficit spending
Wall St. bailouts
Entitlements

I know Wheel will make fun of me, but come on...this thread was started 2 years ago and the media had already declared Romney the frontrunner -- before the primary even started. The whole thing is a f*cking con job.

Meanwhile, Ron Paul spoke to a crowd of almost 10,000 people at UCLA on Wednesday.
