Think we should reduce the fuel tank capacity in cars and charge a delivery fee as well price per gallon at the pumps...... we can use that money to reduce round capaciity in semi-auto gun magazines...... ThumpUp

no attention at all is a bit of a stretch, but there IS vastly insufficient attention from the left since focusing on street gangs would be profiling and that wouldn't be PC ...

rfenst - Please get with the story. Liberal Democrats don't care about street gangs with illegal weapons. In fact, they support them, because it's like affirmative action, and they want to garner the street gangs with illegal weapons vote. In stark contrast, conservative Republicans have declared war on street gangs with illegal weapons and are doing everything in their power to disband and disarm these dangerous organization. Hardly a day passes without a headline about a conservative Republican singlehandedly disarming and disbanding a chapter of MS-13 or the Crips. There are also nearly daily news stories about liberal Democrats taking taxpayer money to bribe the Latin Kings into voting for and writing Op-Eds for them. Haven't you been paying attention, rfenst?

The bottom line is: my side = good, your side = bad.

****E! I just saw law-maker on CNN talking about initiating the same ban as 1994. I remember when that ban lapsed. I bought a used pistol with 3 18 or 19 rnd clips from a Sheriff. I thought to myself "Now I will be able to find a decent-priced AK or good AK knockoff". Well, I have not been able to put the money away for it and now the prices will sky-rocket again.

Sarah Palin is a political force that will not be ignored.

No matter the issue she gets injected into the fray. Not by her choosing either.

There are forces that tremble in fear of what she says, when she says it and who she stands beside. From her family to her rivals.

What a cannot fathom is how most of her common sense comments get disregarded?

Can you actually name a conservative republican that has been voted the mayor of a large city with a gang problem?

Secondly, if the gangs have illegal weapons, they're not going to be deterred buying (or manufacturing) clip that hold more rounds. Duh!

Around here, Democrats run all the major cities. They're all in trouble. They're all infested with gangs. Your point being?

Liberal Democrats would no doubt argue that the reason their social engineering and economic central planning pipe dreams are such a dismal failure is only because they haven't done enough of them. And, they'd more than likely argue that's only because conservatives are too selfish to part with even more of their wealth in taxes to finance their failed schemes to help the 'losers in life's lottery' and bring about 'social justice'.

Well... the liberals are more lenient on criminals. What with all the "half time" and "parole" and "probation" and such... the violent criminals only understand being brutalized. Killers, rapists and ass-pipes who use a firearm during the commission of a crime deserve to be jailed for life or put to death.

THAT and not a new law, will see gun crimes decrease, IMO.
