The dispute is pitiful,. How the hell can the fact that he was Chief of Staff for less than two years preclude him? I don't live in Chicago, but would hate to see this set precedent for those who serve in DC. Total political bull$1it , IMO, (and I don't even like the guy or care who wins).

Proper legal ruling on the matter (live v. "reside").
Now, the people of Chicago get a fair chance to elect whom ever they choose, whether others like him or not. That is how democracy, even in a crooked town, should work!
