Best - Not looking at one of the plastic faced puppets sitting behind BHO.

Worst - Does Barry ever STFU!

Sorry, but i'm hung over. We played a drinking game last night and the drinking words were "education" and "investment" errr...spending...

Cliffs notes:

1. Domestic spending freeze
2. Invest in new technologies (read: green).

The above is NOT a contradiction. Anyone who knows anything about new technologies realizes that all the manufacturing willl be done in China. Hence the "domestic" tag on the spending freeze.

A. Regarding new technologies: America needs to have a "Sputnik" moment.
B. Obama dissolved our manned space program last year.

Umm, uh, yeah. OK.
I think we can add that speech writer to the unemployment list starting today...

Best - Not seeing all the "Jack-in-the-boxes" bouncing up & down every 15 seconds

Worst - It was a VERY uninspiring speech at a time when it seemed he had a great opportunity.

After I listened to him say that the major problem in education was parent involvement I listened. And all I heard was "MORE MONEY!" And not really anything (repealing NCLB) about the level of spending there with piss poor results. He was right about parent involvement, but the union hand was firmly entrenched in the sock puppets arse last night.

Best: It preempted American Idol so I didn't have to leave the main room while my family watched it.

Worst: I had to watch as the Speaker of the House got a little misty but not enough to put streaks in his fake tan. At least Nancy had nice perkey mammalian protruberances to gaze at.

good lord we are electing some weak candidates all the way around.

That only applies to us working stiffs. The rich will still be rich. Even more so, once that pesky middle class is gone. Viva corporatism!
