There are 5 on the list I could support . . . I'm waiting to see who has the best chance to crush the insurgency.

Ron Paul or Alan Keyes...heck even Michael Williams!

Must be a Conservative and must completely understand and adhere to the Constitution with a firm grasp of the Federalist Papers.

Stop the madness by putting up RINO's or fakes. Bring on a REAL electable candidate that real stands for what America was and still can be. We've been hijacked and we need to right the ship.

Issues I'd LOVE to see resolved!(In no certain order!)

Kick the UN out of our nation.

Audit the Federal Reserve.

Repeal ObamaCare.

Institute a flat tax.

End all corporate subsidies.

Police our borders with a "shoot to kill" directive and export all of the illegals.

Bring troops back from areas that don't need us there. (ie...Germany, Japan and any other place that doesn't merit us being there. We can no longer afford to be the World's Beat Cop.)

Mittens is a smiling tool. All I need to know about him is wrapped up in RomneyCare. What kind of foolishness is that? Come out swinging against the Kenyan King but instituted a flawed and failing plan in his own backyard!

to my way of thinking, whomever is the '12 candidate must be electable ... however much I might agree with Libertarians, I never vote for them because they aren't going to win and I'm not into symbolic voting ... and Mitt, whatever your view of his leanings, is not electable on the national stage ... neither is Palin, irrespective of her lack of qualification (to be fair about it, she was more qualified than Barry and that didn't stop us from electing him) ...

True on all accounts Steve.

Look at the way they run the debates even...a real qualified candidate has no place at the podium. We used to have debates that waged HOURS!!! Now, with the snippet thinking moron Americans we have to have it nice, neat and judged up before the hour is over. Gotta hurry up because American Idol or Ice Skating With The Stars is on at 9!

People need to go back to the Lincoln/Douglas debate system and understand that 1 minute questions give you 1 minute answers to issues that are greater than that and need more time devoted to them.

I'm fed up with the 2 party system. Both have failed in ways that defy rational thinking, caring and responsible people!

Did you forget Jindal ? And Guliani is making like he might make a Serious run and he could be The winner. Last time he really could not get into trashing MCain his good friend. There are a few others who could emerge like Paul or Forbes and Santorum..

C'mon Jack...really?

Why not go around Tampa at the next convention with a wheelbarrow shouting "Bring out yer dead!"

America better figure it out real damn quick that the same old bunch of idiots put us in this place and cannot and will not lead us out of it. Otherwise, we get a 2nd term of the Kenyan King. Sorry, but he needs to be a one-termer. His damage will almost be unreversable. It would take almost one full term undoing with this idiot has done.

"shoot to kill" policy.

Go tell that to Brisenia Flores.

That's like giving an aborted fetus a "Get Out Of Jail" card.

Apples and Oranges.

If you set up the shoot to kill directive...Brisenia Flores would still be alive.

13 - Doc i was was simply mentioning people he missed, hell if was up to me i'd run Steve Forbes. I do think we need a star to emerge and fast or Obama is in again. That star appeal is possible with Guliani who was a Maverick but seems like he r,eally doesn't want to be President. In my opinion he really did not try to win the last time..And i don't think Palin is out of the Question either,,

None of the above. Allen West or Marco Rubio would make a better presidential candidate. Heck even The Donald would do a better job than Bush and Obama put together.

Not buying the Donald. He's a tool too.

"NM No Longer A Sanctuary State, Gov. Says
Group: Executive Order Could Lead To Increased Racial Profiling

POSTED: 11:51 pm MST January 31, 2011
UPDATED: 12:33 am MST February 1, 2011

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Gov. Susana Martinez said Monday that New Mexico is no longer a sanctuary state, but some call this executive order a tragedy with implications far beyond our imagination.

Martinez ordered the reversal of the state's "sanctuary status," which prohibited law enforcement from asking criminal suspects about their citizenship. Now, officers will be able to ask anyone they suspect of a crime about their immigration status.

Marcela Diaz, of Somos Un Pueblo Unido, an immigrant rights organization, said this will essentially turn police into immigration agents.

“I think this was a knee-jerk decision that was not well thought out,” Diaz said. “Not only will this lead to increased racial profiling, it taxes resources of limited enforcement.”

The new governor said allowing law enforcement to inquire into immigration status is a big step forward in protecting the public, but Diaz and others believe this move could create more victims.

For instance, Diaz said domestic violence victims may hold back from reporting those crimes to police for fear their loved ones will be deported or they will be, too.

“It's so sad that in 31 days we're already seeing some of the gains we've seen in the last 15 years being reversed based on politics,” Diaz said.

Diaz said immigrant rights activists, hoping for a reevaluation of the executive order, will be protesting at the roundhouse Wednesday at noon."

He's in the same boat as West and Rubio to me.

DO THE JOB YOU JUST GOT!

Christie is in a much bigger political fight. He knows he's making unpopular decisions but for a hole like New Jersey it needs that kind of "tough love" to survive. Take a look at the taxes the NJ resident's pay and I'm surprised they decide to actually still live there.

I like the smoking a j part though. Sitting back? Naw...hiking in the hills, playing with the dogs, fishing, watching a great kids recital....

any number of things to do besides give a single rats behind about the actors and actresses that are paid on tv to get me to give them my money.

Ron Paul is the only choice to me. The rest are either too self interested or globalist shills.

Be careful what you ask for; you just might get it.

Rubio is a thief. He stole $100k+ from the Florida GOP by using its American Express card for personal expenses like: groceries, rent, plane tickets, expensive meals, wine from a shop near his home;car repair, etc., etc.

Yeah, he paid it back- but not until after he was exposed. Wonder where the $$ to pay it back came from...

Me too...although I didn't vote for Bob Barr in '08. I wrote in Ron Paul. I know quite a few people who did. I doubt he will run in 2012 though.

I hate to say this, but I think it will take a few more election cycles and another recession/depression for people to finally start figuring out that the demublicans and republicrats are not what they claim to be.

The trick there is, we'd have to start listening to what critics of our own parties have to say.
