Never smoked one of these myself Chris....but I've got a couple waiting for the right opportunity.

If it tasted as well as it looks like it burned....it musta been a helluva smoke!

Charred cardboard? I would check my storage conditions. I have smoked about 10 of these things, and they are fantastic. Very different from a typical My Father. Much more complex. They taste very aged, kinda like a 10 to 15 year old stick. Much smoother than a typical My Father as well. Gotta love them. A real favorite at my place for special occasions.
