I've had to resort to a "make shift" humidor thanks to Engletl and Whizzy1.

Nawwww, this is one of those pics where you have to really use your imagination to understand it. Remember its an Afghanistan humi and I am betting they just dont have one...

Sorry, for some reason the pic didn't post. Says it did, but I guess not. I WAS a picture of a large ammo can full of cigars courtesy of Engletl and Whizzy1. I have passed out quite a few, filled my humi and my boss's humi, and had to resort to using an ammo can for the rest. Actually works quite well....tthey're air tight. Just keep some demineralized water (can't get distilled here) in there and put my Hygro in there for a couple days to make sure it's right.

You have to do what you have to do in the field. Never had the privilege to get my hands on a good cigar when I was in Iraq. Congrats on the humi!!!!

Actually, my boss's mother has a friend that owns a cigar shop. He's already gotten hold of him and we have cedar on the way. Enough to line 4 large ammo cans with. Fortunately, ChiefBerg is hooking me up with some humi sticks and hygrometers. Should be good to go now.
