yeah it was on a bagel,

i guess it wasnt really cuban, it had some sauteed onions with some pork and cheese. they were good for being free :-)

Onions? And on a bagel?

That's about as close to being a Cuban sandwich as Rosanne Barr is to being a supermodel.

Calling it something it's not doesn't make it so, and honestly, it's not even close. That's a pork and cheese sandwich on a bagel. A Cuban sandwich is pickles, Cuban roast pork, mild/sweet ham and swiss on buttered Cuban bread (I forget the exact Spanish name for the specific bread). Finished in a hot press to heat it, melt the cheese and crush it down.

Glad you enjoyed it though.
