The way it's written and the manner it's interpreted are what's the problem.
The documents were there to protect Freedom FROM government not imply what wasn't written and legislate from the bench.
All 3 branches are out of order and need to be reigned in.
I've thought about this a lot and it would have to start with the Executive branch. They would have to surrender the supposed Executive Order privilage as a token gift...they will all need to give up something and rulings would be stricken away as un-Constitutional like taxation and abortion. They should be delegated down to the states and not rammed down to the states.
Highly unpopular stuff like anchor babies...gone.
It would take leadership that this nation hasn't seen for over 130 years to do this. Bipartisan lockstep. Doing what's right despite reelection.
We're not in the dire death throes for them to consider it. We're awfully close, but the crisis hasn't hit them yet. They want this to crash and run ashore...they don't want to be proactive and take care of things before that.
Gutting K-Street and emptying the swamps is what's needed.
As you can see...they're letting them write the bills and attaching their names to them unread.
