Anyone else paying any attention to it?
The state over-stated its evidence/case "big time" pretrial.
Today, three FBI CSI/Techs testified what the alleged circumstantial evidence didn't "say".
I think she did it, but have real doubt she will be convicted of murder- especially if she doesn't take the stand.

She is the biggest dolt i have ever seen testify. She will trip up at some time in the near future. The people who handled this case evidence should be sent back to ..

1. Because time of death is unknown, we cannot verify Nancy Grace's alibi.

2. Casey Anthony has kinda a hot redneck chick look thing going on.

What I am waiting for is official confirmation of "white trash hot". She needs to stand up and accidentally reveal her tramp stamp tattoo.

We need to know what design she chose.

It's interesting to see which cases get the attention of the country, or the media. Not sure which comes first. I'm not following the case, I don't follow any of them to be honest. I just wanted to make the previous comment. ;)

Even if it were an Ohio issue, I still wouldn't follow it. I hear enough of it as it is on the local news. It was overkill while I was in FL.

There's really NOT that much [important] news out there, but the media sure does a good job at making it sound like there is.

When you're reading stuff off a teleprompter you have to stretch out the material for all its worth.

Wring out the dish towel and sell it as soup.

Kill your television.

The defense is screwed. They have failed in almost all accounts they they claimed they would bring out in opening statements.

I don't think she should get the death penalty. She should get life as this case is entirely circumstantial.

The prosecution has done much better with their witnesses than the defense has.

I have been following it. I enjoy this stuff. O.J. case, M.J. case, I have followed most of the big ones.

Skip the trial, let go to the penalty phase, what say we drown the whole family?

I think people are fascinated because it not easy to break a mother's instinct for the preservation of her child.

The defense had no obligation whatsoever to make an opening statemente of any sort at all. In addition, the defense could have also waited to make its opening statement until after the close of the prosecution's case. By stating what their defeense is in their opening statement- at the beginning of the trial- they "tipped their hand" (when they should not have).

Now, she almost has to testify. If she doesn't, there will be zero evidence of a drowning . Then they cannot use that defense at closing- and will almost have to explain during closing argument why it promissed something that it never even attempted to deliver. 100% bone-headed move.

The fact that the case is "circumstantial", rather than "direct", should not matter what the penalty will be upon a finding of guilt.

I have a feeling she will be aquited of murder.

If she does take the stand the prosecution will rip her apart. Her credibility will be torn to shreds and the jury will see her for the lying scumbag lowlife she really is.

I can't blame the entire family on this...should they have gone to the authorities sooner? Yeah...I would've.

All those pictures of her dancing in night clubs having a good time...the conversations of roommates and friends that recounted how she never showed any sign anything was wrong and lied to them too. The taped up body in plastic and the smashed skull.

No, I HOPE she takes the stand so I can see it on YouTube or Hulu. It will be a textbook example for decades on how you NEVER put a guilty person on the stand.

I suppose they didn't have to give an opening case at the beginning of the trial but saving it for the end and then serving up the closing would be a bit much to swallow.

She b guilty.

Whether the State can prove her guilty to the jury.........is another matter.

I'm not following the trial at all. Having served on a jury for a case that took a month, I recognize how little time the media spend in the actual trial and yet spin incredible, ratings-worthy assessments.

I will await the verdict and the outrage and will react accordingly.

I say no aquittal.

mistrial, maybe.

I'm going with a murder conviction. The media MUST make it look like each side has a fighting chance or there is a loss of interest. Id be surprised by anything other than a conviction on the most serious charge. IMHO.

Local, well respected criminal defense attorneys and the retired judge who basically "wrote the book" on murder trials and Florida's death penalty have no vested interest in anything other than calling it as they see it.

On second thought, it isn't right to bet smokes based on whether someone gets the death penalty. Never mind.

how is it confusing? she either a. killed the baby or b. it drowned and she took it and buried it. fugged up either way and needs to stay in jail for the rest of her life. too many circumstantial factors point to an easy decision at least for me. i dont even know where to get chloroform yet she is googling it. come on.

i think she will get off though... hung jury or something.

Ummmm...bro...I have some tv's around the house...one plays older VHS tapes (it's built in!)...one has my video game consoles plugged to it and the other is in the bedroom connected to a VHS/DVD player. I don't have cable service for tv or phone...just kept the internet upgrade package from BrightHouse. I couldn't tell you what happened yesterday. I was at work and had to meet with a baker about a cake. Later on I met up with Gringo and we had a smoke and a beer. I had my first Pimp Stick...not a bad smoke. I gave him a Bucanero Z.

I was a very inpromptu smoke. I was helping a friend move and had no idea I would be driving right by DMV's house. But, like a true brother I called him with no noticed and say's "What is your subdivision and when you off work, I'll be sitting in your driveway."

Didn't watch the trial yesterday, I will probably turn it on. But I think I'm gonna play some poker at the horse track.
