OBAMA GIVES A SPEECH

when bush gave this speech, fumbling over two syllable words
and trying to hear what he was being told to say through the
tiny mike hidden in his ear, i rarely listened for more then 5 minutes.

we is winning the battle. our brave troops be putting up a good fight.
sadam and his men are on the run. sane s h i t over and over again.

i could overlook much of what he said, he is, after all a junky and a drunk,
whose brain is all but gone, most of the neurons eaten by the drugs and
the fact that he usually could find his way out of a room, but not always,
was a credit to his motor skills.

obama had no trouble walking to the mike and walking back to the same
open door in the long hallway with all he other doors closed. this time
i sensed a difference. perspective alone should have made him appear
taller and larger as he walked towards the camera in front of the podium.

but i lost the perspective. he seemed no bigger on my screen when he
reached the podium then he did when he first walked out of his warmup
room and entered the hallway towards the podium.

as he spoke he shrunk a little. i heard "we see a light at the end," or some
such c r a p. i could visualize him looking through the hubble telescope
and trying to see the light.

we are training the afgans to defend themselves. against what? the afgans
are ruled by whatever gang takes charge of the poppys that year. Karzai, the
president of afgan is completely corrupt as well as some of his relatives
that he has appointed to key positions in the government. as soon as they
have amassed enough money stolen from the government, they will be seeking
asylum in florida, wheee they can live in pent houses and buy all the big american
breasts they can squeeze.
they are all wild and crazy guys.

after we leave afgan in five or ten years, the same people will be controlled
by a new gang and have another president who wins with over 100% of the vote.

and i thought obama was smarter then to give bush's speech's with only a
teleprompter instead of an ear piece.. he will of course be reelected because
the republicans have no one that can beat him, and therein lies the problem.
he doesn't have to run to win. he can walk, he can take two umbrella steps,
and two small steps, and one giant leap, and he doesn't have to say may i..

i don't know how many out of work kids who enlisted because there ae no jobs
and will be killed trying to hold a few rocks in a place where they have two crops,
poppys and rocks. i am trying not to think about it.

is bachman going to be the joan of arc, leading the evangelicals to her god's new
holywar, does romney think when he takes off his tie and rolls his sleeves up once,
he is dressed casually like the rest of us folks. i saw newt's latest wife, and sorry
for being so snide, i'd like to see the prior wife that he left for this one. sarah is now
fighting with fox news over something they reported about her not finishing her
road trip. i wonder if she changes channels when she and the dude are having sex,
and if so. does she use the remote or get up and change the channel.

once a week i drive an hour to ross's house to visit my grandson, he is 7 weeks old
and holding him under his arms and around his chest, with my fingers to help him
hold his head, he pushes with his feet to a standing position.
are you kidding me? he is trying to stand at 7 f'n weeks.

i forgot i was talking about some schmuck giving a speech. f*ck it, no one cares

While I would like to see troops come home, I can't help but think that 30,000 troops coming home by September of next year is just another way for LO[bama]L to gain a few more votes before an election.

Rick, with the new grandbaby it's good to see you've found a way to try and stay balanced between joy and bitterness.

Rick still has a license? That is the scariest thought one could ever imagine. Bitter old white male behind wheel of 3k pound missle...

I guess there right, seniors though slow and dangerous behind the wheel...

interesting point you bring up. in spite of my double, double vision when i get on the freeway, i can usually make it through the four lanes of traffic onto the diamond lane in less then half a mile. without cutting anyone off or making anyone slow down. the diamond lane lets me set the speed for 75 and toby yells if i get too close to someone in front of me doing less then 75.

lucky for us i wake up instantly at full alert.

getting off requires crossing the same four lanes to get to the exit lane at mountain ave.

yesterday we found out ramona dr is only 1 mile to the mountain exit so toby will have to yell at me when we pass ramona dr.

my kids great me with smiles and sighs of relief.

they may soon require i call them when i get home.

Rick, while your reply could have used one of these ---> Sarcasm <---, my grandma used to ride around with a friend who still drove that was basically blind, and she literally had to do what you say Toby does. It's scarey to think that there are MANY elderly drivers out there that should NOT be driving AT ALL.

as far as troops coming home, we are surrounded on two sides by water,
canada to the north and an open border to the south.

i suggest we bring all the troops home and station them near the pacific and
atlantic and make the terrorists come to us. except the ones that are already
here. guys could be home for diner every other night and have time to pick up
a gallon of milk and a 6 pack. let the afgans learn to make boats and row here.

the troops are now stationed in countries where all the hookers are probably
wearing old dirty clothes and they probably work out of the caves.

we can patrol the oceans with our drones. we know what the natives americans
did wrong so we can kill them with drones before they land and if they touch our
shores, take them out and drop them off in the gulf of mexico. it would be the
modern equivalent of blankets infected with measles.

pedophiles go to SiamThailand Jewel of Southeast Asia where they can pay for
5 and 6 year olds.

why couldn't disney build a theme park in afgan for families to visit. nice hotels
with swimming pools, a few casinos, and little boat rides through the caves.
maybe trump might be interested in building a mini-vegas. high rollers get free
flights.

ask the Israelis to take out kadafi. it didn't take the mossad ten years to kill
all the killers from the 72 Olympics that attacked the jewish athletes

Following the massacre of Israeli athletes by the Palestinian terrorist group Black September at the Munich Olympics in 1972, Mossad directed an assassination effort under an action team dubbed "the Wrath of God" (WOG). Over the next two years, WOG tracked down and killed more than a dozen members of Black September, but ... accidentally killed a Moroccan waiter who had no affiliation with the terrorist group.

bitterness is not nor has ever been part of me. i was not even bitter about bush stealing two elections.

he all but destroyed this country and i look forward to seeing him stone drunk, and his wife dumping him, but my blood pressure remains about 70/110. little of anything gets more of my attention then annoying.

i may be a Buddhist who has achieved nirvana..

Wishing ill on others or getting pleasure out of seeing someone suffer that you feel has wronged you....

Denial...you're ok, everyone else is crazy...

It sounds like bitterness to me. Having a decent blood pressure reading just tells me that your comfortable in your bitter state, or you're doctor is prescribing just the right medication.

bush didn't wrong me it is the country he ruined.

i really can't think of anything the governent, federal, state and even whittier, has had any influence on my life. granted charging me for a permit to hang a sunsettter awning was a bit much, but i am the only one on my block that managed to get a double wide driveway installed on my block in the last tern years.

i read the regs and the options, found a new inspector and cement got poured.

i think you like the idea of someone being bitter.

for the purpose of our discussion i shall be bitter for you. is there a dress code?

what is your profession, meaning how do you earn money to feed yourself and anyone that depends on you.

is the life you have the one you wanted.

can you get good bagels where you live.

do you hunt?

and most important for this board, what do you carry?

I don't like the idea of someone being bitter. You just need to move on past Bush. There's nothing you can do about it. He's out of office now. Plenty of presidents made bad choices in the past...there will be plenty more after him. It's time to move on.

1. Though I don't claim to be an accountant, I do accounting "stuff."
2. I never mapped out my life to try and end up in a certain place. I've merely made some choices along the way to be where I am now. There are things I would have liked to try, but didn't. There are things I've done that I wish I hadn't. Happy most times, unsure and a little frustrated other times...sounds human to me.
3. There are some good bagel shpos around, but I don't eat bagels much so I usually resort to the mass produced brand that is probably carried at most grocery stores.
4. I don't hunt, but I would like to give it a try.
5. I don't know how it happened, but somehow I ended up carrying only MasterCard. Anxious

Hi Rick; not sure about your first three paragraphs or the part about Palin having sex with "her dude," but I have to admit, I'm not going to lie, I agree with everything else you said. How do you maintain nirvana with things seeming so hopeless?
