I would say that since day one there has been some serious shoveling going on.I'm about fertilizered to death. It's time to crawl out from under this manure pile and put someone in charge that truly knows how to create jobs......not just more bullsh*t.

Who, exactly, do you guys think is going to be the great "jobs creator" and "savior" of our country? One of the idiots the GOP is currently throwing up there? Please.....they are more worried about social issues. Making sure Planned Parenthood, and NPR get defunded and worrying about Gawd and homasexshuls. Obama is no good but neither is anybody else running right now. The only one I would even piss on if he was on fire is Ron Paul. We are screwed. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

It was never really a stimulus package. It was a ton of money to extend unemployment benefits, a ton of money to give to state and local governments so they could avoid laying off union workers, and some road construction money so the average person would actually visibly see something from it.

It was never advertised as going to create jobs. It was advertised as going to save or create 3 million jobs. It saved 3 million government jobs.

And carry to the next election. That failed too. The way they figure unemployment is a joke. The way they run the govt. is a joke.

IMHO you're swinging all around the ball but you have got to keep your eye on it.

My guy at present is Herman Cain........my dark horse so to speak(no pun intended). He's not a Washington insider.....which is always a plus....instead of Washington telling him how things operate I'm hoping he would show them a thing or two about creating jobs.I'm also sick of lawyers in DC......it's time we put a businessman in charge and run some of them candy stealing bastids out of town. There's way more to my personal selection than just this........too lazy to spell it all out.

“If one is interested in job creation in the private sector, it is important to recognize that lower taxes enable the job creators, i.e., small businesses, to have more money with which to expand their work force. And I would, yeah, I think they ought to be extended.”

I don't want any of those wars. Should be out of Afghanistan, well years ago. And Libya is a huge mistake. Thing is when I was arguing against the wars under the previous administration the righties on this board defended Bush. So you can't start using them as an argument against Obama now.

Same thing with the debt, no big complaints last administration, or under any other Republican administration when the debts were piling up under W, Reagan, but now after the huge problem was created a D comes into office and it's immediatly a huge concern after W blew up the economy and put millions out of work with his economic polilcies.

Not very many 'conservatives' said Bush sucked until he was long gone from DC, and by not many I mean like 10, and each one was derided as being a 'rino' and just out to sell a book.
