I'm in a chat room right now. There is a Canadian woman who lives in Northern Ontario trying to get an appt. with a gynecologist.

The earliest she can get an appt. is January. She could travel out of district to see another gyno, but she would have to pay full price out of her pocket.

Sigh....I never said American health care rules. Did you read that in my post? There are plenty of problems with our health care system.

She can't see "her" gyno until January. If she travels outside her district or whatever to see a different gyno, she has to pay.

Only one in her district?

I know I can't see any doctor I want since many don't take any more patients. Let me rephrase, I can see them because I have connections, most people without the connections can not because they don't take any more patients. Fortunately I get to see whatever doctor I need or want to because I know people who know people. A much better system, don't you think?
