Besides the obvious (CAO, AVO, Pardron) what are the best cigars? I've began to smoke more than i used to and need to cut down on some prices. Any brand Ideas?

I like Don Tomas Corojo's, Professor Sila's and Astrals. These are all good low priced smokes. I have tried several varieties of each.

I think Mayorga and Carlos Torano are great smokes for the money.

Mayorga is a great recommend. If you want top-shelf without top-shelf price...Bucanero.

Perdomo's The Cigar Pequenos is about a $1.50 a stick if bought by the box. Nice wrapper, medium bodied, good morning smoke.

The CI bundles are all very good for about $1.50 a stick. If you like stronger cigars try the CI Corojo bundle.

Flor de Oliva Grand Maduro or Grand Cameroon is about $2/$2.50 a stick. These suckers are great.

An old favorite of mine that is no longer being made but you can still find them is the Canaria D'Oro. These are a little on the mild side but have some spicy notes. You can sometimes find a closeout for $25/$40 a box.

These are all in the $1-$3 per stick range. If that's not what you consider "mid-priced" let me know and I'll give you some idea for the $4-$6 range.

Rock & Roll, the best thing about Cigarbid is that
if I look carefully I can buy $100/box cigars for $50 - $70. For $3 a cigar you can't beat it.
Torano, Oliva

I haven't had much luck with the "bargain" brands
($1 a stick)

Since I started bidding on cbid and other sites I have never paid full price since .When I first started smoking cigars I was spending a round 160.00 a week at the smoke shop I was going to. Thank god I found Cbid ,I have never paid full price since and I get best deals I feel I admit I some times go a little over bored on the bidding like the last 2 weeks I have won I be leave around five -seven bids and four are full boxes and I am glad my dor will hold over 250. Cigars ,and I even won that It retails for around 300 to 400 from what I have seen when pricing dors , I only paid 89.00 for It and it is very nice ,I have seen others In smoke shops for 5 times the price and they are not as nice as the one I won, The first dor I bought I thought I got a grate deal on It, It was only 79.00, but It was only the dor it self and by the time I got out the door It was way over a 100 and only holds a round a 100 cigars . So I guess what I am trying to say is by using Cbid you can get almost 50% to 85% of on what you want , you just have to know what you want and have the time to compete with others witch makes It moor fun , And you can make a lot of new friends and learn a lot about different cigars and other products . So have fun and enjoy and never pay full prices again .I hope I did not ramble on or get off the subject ,But I felt this might help . Like I say smoke good smoke free . Sincerely Daniel Weiss

Hoyo de Monterrey, can be found for under $70/box at many web sites. Not too bad for a great cigar.

Look at the Perdomo wheels. Any size, about $1 per stick. Great everyday smoke. nuff said...69
