Well, this is the non-elitist PIB. You listed mostly top shelf smokes. Might want to revisit your list.

Alright, I'll pick up Illinichaser...

List was too ez, figured I would give it till the end of the day.

Guess I'll put up another easy list (copy his, lmao)

My list:
Arturo Fuente- any
Padron - any
Tat- any
MF-Any
Oliva-any
LFD- any
Anything else new or different

Prefer smaller ring gauges, but will smoke up to 54 if it's a good smoke (any bigger than that and I probably won't smoke it).

Let's go with habano wrappers though, light or dark, it's ok, but stick with habano wrappers.

See if we can get a trend going here.

Edit:

Forgot, AF don't make many habano style, opus for brownie points! ... if not, I guess I'll get what I get;)

It is kind of an office trash can. It doesn't get used much, plus I have been gone away for almost 2 months.

Anyway, the package is in the mail.

9114 9011 8986 6760 2645 16

They said you would have it on Saturday.

Now so there is no list rage.
Strange...all the cigars I love are the ones I just mailed!!!!
So we will take a different slant on this one.

I have never had a Punch. Probably should try one.
Same with Diesel. See them all over the auctions, but never bought one that I know of.
OK...now don't black ball me on this one, but one guy said the Gerkha Ghost was a good cigar. I know, I used the G word, but it was specific.
Finally Illusiones.

Thanks.

Aw, come on. I figured somewhere, sometime, someone in a drunken stupor accidentally hit a bid button and bought a Ghost. I don't want to buy a 5-er for myself just to get one...but somewhere someone has one buried in the bottom of their humidor...afraid to admit it or whatever.

I would add that I would take something else of equal value, but I am pretty sure that is not possible.

I've never owned or smoked a Gurkha.

I have no intentions of doing so either, I will not put one in my humidor, just know, if one is sent to me, it will end up in the trash, LMAO.

I'm kind of superstitious that way.

Kind of funny. No one has a Gurkha Ghost or are at least denying it. I wonder if Gurkha knows they have this marketing problem with guys who have been smoking cigars for a while. I remember I bought some when I first started. I thought I was getting a great deal. MSRP of $100, but on sale for $29. I bought quite a few of them. Today I wouldn't pay more than $19 for 10. Actually, I wouldn't even buy them then. I'd use the money for a 5-er of Most anything else.

Having said that, my new list:

Still would like to try:
A Diesel
A Punch
Tabak (haven't had one of those yet)
I like Illusiones
My Father Le Bijoe ( I have lots of Antilles and Antiquedads )
LFD Double Ligero

I picked up Gary in a non-elitist PIB a while back and I hit him pretty good, and he saw that I was up and he saw his opportunity...

Got Gary's PIB today, and the only thing I can say is that he wanted revenge in a big way, here's the damages:

AF Queen B with an old crusty azz wrapper
Padron Maduro Lancero - ya buddy, this will get smoked soon

Tatuaje Havana VI Corona - I smoked this driving around looking for lunch today, normally don't smoke during the day, but the cafe next door was closed, and the tat was saying... smoke me, smoke me... so I did.

MF Antillas Toro - Love these!
Oliva V Melanio - One of my favs all time
LFD Air Bender - Great Smoke

Now the anything Differents:

AB Prensado Churchill - Needed this one, was running low, just traded handful of mine to robertsccr5
Camacho Corojo Toro old band - NH, looking forward to it

And the star of the show, something I've never heard of:

Bucanero Full Sail - NH Obviously

Gary actually PM'd me telling me about it and looked it up. It does look like a good quality smoke, and from the copy the manufacturer put out about the smoke, I'm actually really excited to try it.

Oh, and did I mention, Gary threw in a 5 count Herfador to boot.

Very nice smashing Gary, and thanks for the revenge PIB hit, I appreciate it.

This isn't a trade thread. d'oh!

Best thing to do is post up a separate topic in here (Trades section) and offer up what you have and what you'd like in return. However, being as this is your first post and no one here knows who you are, the odds of getting someone to trade with you might be slim. Not impossible but quite slim (...you'll be expected to send first...). You really ought to establish yourself here first. Get a vet (...see Noob Trade Thread #44: http://cigarbid.com/FORUM/c/posts/641015/NOOB-TRADE-THREAD-44 ), do some Noob PIBs, bomb a few of the FOGS (...Busa comes quickly to mind...). Help us get to know you and for you to know us. Lastly, be prepared to catch some flak for not doing a proper introductory post.

Good luck.

Somehow the shipping label got ripped off the box and it got returned to sender... I'm sure it wasn't an accident, htf does a shipping label accidentally get ripped off a box.

Happy to report, all smokes were in tact safe and sound, anyway...

I re-bagged it (fresh smokes), and I'll get it out as soon as I can.

F'ing post office.

I have been posting in the Trades section pretty constantly for the past couple of months. In and out of the hospital a lot also, so I haven't been online very much also. That being said..... I'M BACK!

I'd be more then happy to pick someone up. I've got the humi packed with some pretty choice sticks and would love to share'em.

Not 100 percent sure that I'm doing this right, but it looks like fun. Gonna throw my simple catalog wish list.

Punch Signature Robusto
Room 101 Daruma Sucio
Nub Cafe
Any Arturo Fuente
CAO Brazilia
Any Montecristo
H. Upmann The Banker
Or, to make it easier, any Sampler. Just curious what would be sent. Makes the experience that much more fun.

Noob looking to get a toe in the water... I get the basic gist, but wonder if there is a general etiquette to shipping - ziplock, ziplock and boveda? I saw that a herfador package was impressive. Okay.

This thread still trying to stay under $8 msrp? Some of these selections had me scratching the old noggin.

Palama you said check #44 for intro/credibility builder. It didn't appear to have any action in some time.
