At lease now we know the rich don’t pay their fair share – who dares to disagree with Lord Ronny?

Picking up where we left off on our last class warfare thread, fair share based on what?

Your opinion?

Someone else's opinion?

The general masses' opinion?

The half-assed input from the zero liability crowd who hate "rich people"? You know who I'm talking about - folks who might pay some taxes during the year, but then get 100% of it all back, plus their "earned income credit", whereby they get some tax money that I paid in back on their return as a bonus for not working hard or succeeding. Yeah, those folks' opinion?

I know, I know ... being a socialist is super hard work. Makes your brain hurt.

Fair enough –

How about fair based on what your President says?
Ok, you don’t agree – what about fair base on what Reagan says?
Of course not – because fair is whatever you can get away with.

Same old talking points from the rich mans’ lackeys that they got of Fox News.

BTW – I agree with you that Reagan was a half-assed zero liability type. At least we agree on something.

Where is the moment we needed the most
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to gray
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carryin' on

You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee you go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces every time
And I don't need no carryin' on

Because you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Since when did we get so many damn many Liberal Whiners smoking cigars......we have had a few over the years, but seems to be a growing number, what causes this?

Do Liberals all smoke cheap ass cigars ? No, my pal Andy Arcia is a cigar elitist, and a liberal lefty......

You would suspect they would be concerened about the planet and global climate change, etc I am sure a cigar to Al Gore would be like garlic to a Vampire.

A Double Churchill would be a good size for sharing wth their poor friends, pass it around like a joint! Singing Kumbaya or We Shall Overcome while smoking!

Ah, sweet mystery or misery whichever you select.......

"At the Democratic national convention in 1996, Gore gaving a moving speech about his only sister's painful death from lung cancer. And since then he has pushed the administration's aggressive anti-smoking campaign.

What Gore didn't mention is that he grew up on a tobacco farm, worked on it, and continued to accept checks from that farm for years after his sister died. In 1988, while running for president, he defended tobacco farmers while campaigning in Southern tobacco states (and made the quote up above: 'I've raised tobacco ... I've shredded it, spiked it,... and sold it.') He accepted contributions from tobacco companies as late as 1990

Sorry Charlie – It may sound like bad news, but there are lots of intelligent people who smoke cigars. They have always been there – they just aren’t the loudest voice in the room. While they are rare, a few are even conservatives . . . .

And where would the forum be without the liberal voice of reason? A bunch of old curmudgeons carping over them mooslums, or having a govmunt, or the price of ammo. Xenophobic ranting and reports of “movements”???

Besides, kicking the liberals is fun – they use big words, speak of broad ideas, question things – hell they’ve got it coming. And they think they know everything! Even words like “curmudgeons”. What a bunch of egocentric malcontents!

So, embrace the liberals in the place where you live. There are a lot more of them than you think (hint; they are the ones trying not to smile when the conservative are talking).

^I'm so glad that when the intelligent Liberals controlled our government, their massive IQs where able to fix the economy, reduce unemployment to the lowest level in decades, eliminate racism, clean the environment, end war and wipe out world hunger. The sad thing is that you actually believe that load of elitist crap you posted.

Too bad you confuse education with intelligence. Just because someone is well educated, and can regurgitate liberal dogma after many years of brainwashing by his liberal professors, does not make one intelligent. Arrogant and elitist? Usually. Intelligent? Not even close.

The important takeaway from all this is we're still rich and Brewha is still poor. It was that way yesterday as well. It will be that way tomorrow. The Democrats had complete control of the Presidency and the US Congress for two years and did nothing to right this outrage. Maybe they'll get around to it next time.

I have been call many things – actually a lot of things – but never poor. Morally bankrupt, sure. But that was only for fun, and a few times for business reasons (I know the republicans understand that one!).

Once again I have been sliced down by the rapier like whit of Le HockeyDad. My life ideals broken like the rotted pickets of a dog tooth fence (wow, I like that one). Stripped of dignity and countenance by the formidable and unrelenting forbearance of the French master debater.

A poor man am I. A poor, lost and hapless . . . .

It is similar to this week at my employer. This is Giving Campaign week, where all are encouraged to give to charity, and if you already are, to give more.

In two weeks, we find out what the cost of our benefits for next year are going to cost. Too bad the events aren't flip flopped on the calendar, because once we know how much is going to be taken away, we'd know better how much more we could afford to pay.

Same thing for the rich. Going after them as individuals, before they find out how much their businesses are going to get hit is counterproductive.

Who do you think donates the money to make average Joes into congressmen and senators? And around it goes.

People need to understand that they'll never hook the rich. The rich will receive the bill and they'll make the middle class pay the price, while the lower class continues on the free ride.

Why do all the conservatives on this forum think all liberals are poor?

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006/pages/results/states/US/H/00/epolls.0.html

While 2 of 3 people making under 15k a year are democrats, that still leaves a full 1 in 3 of them who are republican.

Income
Less Than $100,000 (78%)
55% democrats
43% republican

$100,000 or More (22%)
47% democrats
52% republican

While not perfectly balance, it is still pretty even.

There are plenty of wealthy democrats, and plenty of poor republicans.

Zero Liability crowd? How about the Less Than Zero crowd?

The people that really need a frying pan to the head are the people that receive (and the politicians that made it possible) for people that don't pay any taxes, yet get tax refunds.

I completely agree. The only reason I get money back is for the fact I have an extra amount deducted so as to never owe the IRS again. I am tired of the have none want someto of yours for free crowd as if it was owed to them. For shame I don't work twice as hard so they can be twice as lazy.
