SEAL BEACH — The peace of this quiet seaside community was shattered Wednesday when eight people were killed and one was injured in a shooting at a hair salon.

It was the deadliest shooting in Orange County history.

Police had a single suspect in custody, 42-year-old Scott Evans Dekraai of Huntington Beach, identified by witnesses and hair salon employees as the ex-husband of one of the salon employees.

Me too. I've adopted the logic used by many on this board. If there is one communist protester at OWS, then they all are, so all teabaggers are future mass murderers and should be dealt with.

I have a headline for you

Pol Pot, Devout Atheist, Responsible For The Murder of Over 2,000,000!

Really reaching, aren't we, oh Snickerdoodle one.

Hey, I have a fun project for you. Try to determine how many of those who committed murder in our inner cities this year supported and voted for Obama. I'm guessing the vast majority.

If the 'rights' logic is to be taken as correct, I guess so. Only it would also include Christians as well for the same reason. Damn, we're all screwed.

Thanks for catching the idiocy of your own logic. And you actually think criminals and murderers are the kind of people who take the time to vote? I'm inclined to think not that much. Hell, hardly anyone votes anyway.

Only a complete idiot like Snickerdoodle would believe this bull.

"The gunman appeared to have worn body armor and had several guns, police and witnesses said.

Police did not release a motive for the shooting. However, court records and acquaintances said he and his ex-wife, Michelle Fournier Dekraai, of Huntington Beach, who worked at the salon as a licensed cosmetologist, had been locked in a bitter custody battle over their son since he filed for divorce in 2007.

It was unclear whether Fournier was among those killed.

Dekraai was seeking full custody but a court-ordered review recommended against that, John Cate Jr., the attorney for Michelle Dekraai, told the Orange County Register.

Dekraai appeared for a court hearing in the case on Tuesday but it was merely a scheduling meeting, Cate said.

"Obviously, I saw no indication" that he was violent, the attorney said.

Lydia Sosa, a hairstylist who left two years ago to work at a new business with her friend, said the gunman's ex-wife spoke often of her relationship problems.

"They had been having bitter problems for years and I guess he just went in there and started shooting," Sosa said."

See Snickerdoodle and his ilk NEED to "cleanse" themselves by making any far reaching attempt they can to justify their rationale and what their leadership are doing.

Nice try, but like EVERYTHING else you've ever done...it falls short.

Just point and laugh or feel sorry for his worthlessness. Either way, he's got laundry to catch up on and a dinner to make for Ms. Snickerdoodles.

Yeah, you probably did, but that would be wrong. There were some people who volunteered for Acorn or worked for them temporarily who tried to register people who weren't eligible to vote because they were paid for how many people they registered. Probably a bad idea because it leads to what happened, bogus people. But those people didn't actually vote and weren't even registered to vote as they were weeded out.

What did I say that you think was wrong? He appears to have been a teabagger and he killed 8 people. True things, so I'm right on target. Your critique is falling way short.

The entire title for starters.

You want to stir the pot? Get the facts. This appears to be motivated by a custody battle. Nothing political.

And where did I say the motive was political? I said he had a tea party licence plate cover so he appears to be a teabagger. Saying that it was political was your assumption, not mine, so you must be the idiot.

Besides, no matter what the motive, killing 8 people over a custody battle shows a severe lack of morals don't you think? So it's logical to say that this teabagger has no morals or character or empathy for others and had a too easy access to guns. He probably suffered from some mental problems that someone who thinks they did everything by themselves by pulling up their bootstraps so they didn't need help from anyone and went off the deep end.

Fuzz,
good job stirring the pot, but you can't deny your intent.

Be a man and admit your intent was to point fingers at the tea party. Why deny it?

It's one thing to debate an issue, but it's frustrating when the other person lies in an attempt to prove the other wrong. Your agenda here was entirely polical.

So, if we follow the logic of your reply, this murderer could not be a tea party member, as criminals and murderers are not the kind of people who take the time to vote (your words). Why would he be in a political movement if he doesn’t vote? Sometimes cookieboy, you're just too easy.

Are you insane? California has the most repressive, restrictive guns laws in the nation. All good liberals know that restrictive gun laws prevent crime, so this crime really didn't happen, as California's draconian gun laws prevented it. Oh, and the same gun laws prevent folks with mental problems from obtaining guns, so this guy couldn’t have had a mental disorder either.

That would follow logically had this guy not had tea party stuff not prominently displayed on his truck.

Besides, I didn't say anything earlier, but we all know what you mean by 'inner city' criminals and murderers voting for Obama, so don't try to hide 'black person', 'jigaboo' or 'n*gger' behind the euphemism 'inner city criminal'. It's just as racist only you think it makes you look like an impartial observer.

I may be insane, but that has nothing to do with this. NJ has some of the strictest gun laws too and I could get a gun in less than an hour if I wanted to. What about drug laws? I would bet you that the average high school kid could get an oz of pot faster than he/she could get a bottle of vodka.

and lmao at the couldn't have had a mental disorder. You think that everyone with a mental disorder has been diagnosed properly?

It's just pathetic and funny that when the 'logic' you guys on the 'right' use to demonize us liberals is used against you you get all huffy and pissed off and don't realize that I'm only doing it to point out your blatant hypocrisy.

Party affiliation shows motive? Nonsense.

Party affiliation strong enough to display it publicly on your automobile has a high likelihood of predicting a world view, general attitude toward others and quite possibly a world view. But motive? Hardly.

I posted this just the way I intended, it got the responses I expected and the illogical ways you guys attempt to justify your similar posts yet this one is so way different and out of bounds claiming I am saying things I actually didn't say. This entire thread could have been predicted and written ahead of time it's so predictable.

Ever heard of sarcasm? Anyone with even a hint of rational thinking knows that gun laws can never prevent someone bent on committing a crime or murder from acquiring a weapon. You just admitted it in your reply, yet Liberals preach day in and day out that stronger gun laws are needed to prevent crime and murder. They know they don't, yet they still use the argument to try and rationalize the call for more and more gun laws. Sounds like insanity to me.

Oh, and the mental disorder thing? Sarcasm once again. Personally, I feel that anyone who takes an innocent human life must have some degree of mental illness.

Way less everything, including people. You guys have like what, 5 people per square mile? NJ has over 1,000 per square mile. You probably have more cows than people so crime wouldn't be a problem unless moo-cows started a gang.
