Gonna stop one response by saying I know he is gone and I know he can't be elected again.

Bush leaves office and I have not seen one nice thing said about him since. Even everyone who defended everything he did are now saying he was horrible. What's up with that?

Another response nipped by saying I know I defend Obama occasionally, usually when the comment or accusation about him just isn't true, but I think he should be a one termer and has failed in a number of things, but not because I want a conservative, but because I would prefer someone more on the left.

Hey - I defended Bush just the other day. I was asked if I prefer Bush or clean shaven, I said Bush!

Anyone who sings unabashed praises for Bush or Obama is either naive, a partisan hack, and/or has concave cheeks from sucking the Government teat.

I never thought I'd miss the slick perv and his Republican Congress.

How is he relevant to current events? How is he currently affecting society?

If your deflecting attention because the magic knee grow is deficient in his abilities then this is rhetorical question.

Wasn't rhetorical, not deflecting, and he's not President. I think the question is clear, concise and I'm interested in the answers and wanted to also make an observation. You could have ignored it and saved yourself some time.

You are one of the people that I was talking about btw, so I can see why you didn't want to consider the question.

Nice sarcasm, but it doesn't change the fact that you defended Bush constantly and now you bad mouth him. Strange behavior since nothing he's done has changed, but your opinion has.

Since he is no longer President, and therefore has no effect on our current lives, he is irrelevant. Why should any of us give a rat’s arse about him now?

I voted Browne in 2000 and Paul in 2004, as I knew who Bush was going to be, and true to form, he was no surprise. Just like when I told folks before the election, just what kind of President Dear Leader would be, and many now wish they had listened.

Of course you hyper-progressives aren’t happy with your man either, as he isn’t bankrupting this nation nearly as fast as you hoped.

Interesting editorial in the Boston Globe about the first Bush, and how he deserves more credit for the dissolution of the USSR

1. I'm not going to search the entire forum but I am quite certain at least one nice thing has been said about him.

2. Making absolute statements of opinion/generalizations are not facts "Even everyone who defended everything he did are now saying he was horrible."

3. Just because you feel/think a comment or accusation about Obama isn't true does not in fact make you right. Believe it or not you are not the final authority on any subject. You have your opinion, so do other people. Opinion is just that opinion, not fact!

Remember back when bush was the "norm"?

Now its the polar opposite.

I recall a pair of twins back in '85, Abilene, Tx, one bush, one waxed. Now that was fun I tell you.

Abilene, Abilene
Prettiest town I've ever seen.
Woman there, they don't treat you mean
In Abilene.

I sit alone, every night
Watch the trains roll out of sight
How I wish they'd carry me back
To Abilene.

Wish I could go there
The girl that I know there
Would love me all of my day
Why did I leave her
Never to see her
Oh, What a price to pay.

Abilene, Abilene
Prettiest town I've ever seen.
Woman there, they don't treat you mean
In Abilene.

Prettiest town I've ever seen.
Woman there, never treat you mean
In Abilene.

You're in luck then. Since Obama has proven that - given a compliant media and a largely clueless electorate - one need not be a natural born citizen to be elected president, then Kim Jong-il definitely has a chance at the Democratic nomination should The Chosen One decide not to run for a second term.

This thread was an example of rank amateur trolling. FuzzNJ should edit his original posts and all subsequent posts and just insert little smiley faces.

The effort is just embarrassing and reflects poorly on the entire user community.
