a box is pretty much a box. i use a plastic sweaterbox for a spare and use my home made soap dish humidifier.
this is for cigars that are not going to age and cost less then a buck. what do they mean by "top of the line humidification system?"

If you are referring to the Aristocrat Humi's made by Bob Staebell let me just say that they amazing pieces of furniture! I have an Aristocrat end table size humi with the digital set 'n forget humidifier and I have no problem keeping my 30 or so boxes of cigars at my desired % of 68% humidity. Mr. Staebell really does tremendous work at a more than fair price. Now I know that they are a bit pricy compared to traditional humidors but compared to other Cabinet style/ end table humidors they are a very good value! I don't post here often but I couldn't resist replying to this thread as these are really 1st class humidors and Bob Staebell is really nice guy who will answer any questions you have personally.
