Voter fraud in South Carolina?

Already, there has been some question into folks who cast their ballots on Saturday.

South Carolina's Attorney General, Alan Wilson has notified the U.S. Justice Department of potential voter fraud.

Wilson says an analysis found 953 ballots cast by voters were people who are listed as dead.

He has asked the State Law Enforcement Division to investigate.

I heard there was a call for a literacy test in SC, but it was decided it would disenfranchise 70% of the voters.

From our local paper, the Augusta Chronicle, Rants and Raves:

THIS IS A RANT FOR anyone opposing ID card for voting. My wife has lived in Georgia for more than 40 years. She does not have a driver’s license. She has a military ID, but in order to be issued a handicapped permit, she must have a Georgia-issued ID card. Which is more important, voting or parking?

Oh, and F'yall re all those remarks about SC.

There was voter fraud in the Iowa caucus too. I heard a story on the radio about a precinct chairwoman calling in to give her district's final tally, and being told that her results had already been called in. Now they are saying that the REAL final count can't be certified for 8 precincts...7 of which Romney lost in '08.

This is why we need to reform voting.


No vote by mail and more people need to get involved. This was a non issue in NH.

Also once its past 10 days nothing will happen.



There's a great book about this, I think its called "Black Box Ballots"

I agree with Wheel, but I do often!
Photo ID's will solve voter fraud as well as as noted above handicap, welfare, food stamps etc.
You have to show ID's to buy booze, buy guns and ammo, check into many hotels, fly, rent a car, cross borders, whats wrong with proving you are in fact you?

According to some this would disenfranchise the poor, since they have no ID they would not be able to vote.
Since they don't buy booze, tobacco and the other finer things in life an ID is not needed.

A state ID or driver's license costs less than 20 bucks. There's really no "but they're poor!" excuse.

All states provide photo IDs free to the old and poor..

Guys...don't forget that this state has an open primary.

You can declare your party affiliation a day before.

So, say you were a lifelong Democrat like Rfenst...and you wanted the weakest candidate to face up against the Kenyan King...you go in and change your party affiliation the day before you vote for Neutered.

The Kenyan King has been running against Mittens because he's what Soros has laid out with his Occupooper Brigades...Hate Gordon Gecko and those Capitalist Pigdogs. They should be slaughtered for not donating to the union coffers and making so much money. Now they're trying to make Neutered the poster boy for the GOP. Does anyone with half a brain still think this guy is electable? I mean really...there's tons of people that bash on Paul because of his age, his stance on the Constitution or some other silly ass reason and there's this morally bankrupt carpetbagger from DC waiting to sally into another trough position.

lol. Love the theory. Newt won by what, 12 points? Certainly a large enough margin to make up for any of those voting shenanigans. Before Republicans started to f around with this process, I never thought of doing it, never want to do it either. Sounds too dishonest to me and not something I want to participate in. Rush was the worst offender of this tactic by encouraging his listeners to do this for 'Operation Chaos'. There has never been an organized push for Democrats to do this like Rush has done.

To prove voter fraud it is generally accepted that there needs to be a Democrat within 100yds of a voting location.
