"Rfenst, With all due respect sir it IS your profession who has manipulated and interpreted our Constitution for decades and turned this wonderful country into the abysmal mess that it is." who appointed scalia, roberts and thomas to the supreme court, regean, gw bush, and the young prince. with any luck, thomas will be investigated and impeached, scalia will show more signs of dementia, and he will be asked to go fishing or hunting and stop pretending he is a lawyer. law·yer (lô“y…r) n. One whose profession is to give legal advice and assistance to clients and represent them in court or in other legal matters. (note it says legal matters, not political or social matters.) scalia has shown his lack of respect for the law by his refusual to excuse himself from ruling on cases where he has a personal relationship with one of the litigants. if he excused hinself, thomas would have no one he could copy a ruling from. these and the people who appointed them are one of the cause's of the coup d'é·tats that have taken place in my lifetime, starting with the cold blooded murder of JFK. do you think the founding father's envisioned a time when a cabal of wealthy business owners could secretly buy any elected office because of the amount of money they could give a chosen candidate, to buy his seat in the congress or the senate. that is why we have (9%+) unemployment and never again will anyone but a WASP sit in the oval office. if you think it is bad now, if obama gets reelected, you ain't seen nothin yet.
as an aside and before i forget, cheney was and still is a war criminal. i hope he visits one of the countries in europe that are waiting with open arms to arrest and try him for his war crimes.

Palin: ‘We Must Never Forget the Wisdom of Jefferson, and his Wife, Weezy’
MONTICELLO (The Borowitz Report) – Visiting Thomas Jefferson’s historic home, Monticello, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today paid tribute to the nation’s third President, telling an audience of supporters, “We must never forget the wisdom of Jefferson, and his wife, Weezy.”
Gov. Palin said that “at a time of our history when the American people needed leadership, it was Jefferson who said the immortal words, ‘We’re movin’ on up.’”
The former Alaska Governor, criticized in recent days over her grasp of American history, used the Monticello speech to demonstrate her knowledge of the country’s founding fathers.
“Let us have the ingenuity of Benjamin Franklin, who invented the electric chair,” she said.
“Let us have the honesty of George Washington, who told his father that he chopped down a cherry tree because it was blocking his view of Russia,” she added. “And let us have Washington’s perseverance, which he demonstrated during that harsh winter at Sweet Valley High.”
But she saved her most fulsome praise for her favorite American hero, Paul Revere: “In his famous cry, ‘One if by land, two if by sea,’ Paul Revere proved that you don’t have to know how to count higher than two to be a great American.”
At the end of her speech in Monticello, Gov. Palin said that she was looking forward to the next stop on her bus tour, Philadelphia, “the home of the Taco Bell.”

since my eyes can't handle small fonts, i have copied it and enlarged the fonts and will read it tomorrow.c i'm not fond of cal thomas, but since i was called a Conservative by someone, i will try to read it with an open mind.
point of order. what if the state of israel was partitioned to include major oil reserves and saudi arabia and iran had nothing under their sand but more sand?

i understand clarance voted with scalia. clarance thomas is a disgrace to lawyers and to himself.
