Other than having one item backordered about 6 months ago, I've not had any glitches in my orders at all ...

But, irrespective of my experience, it sounds as if you've got a discrepency in YOUR order, in which case I'd recommend you speak with Trish or one of the other CSRs at CI/CB ... they're really an outstanding bunch and I'm positive that you'll find they will bend over backward to resolve your discrepency ...

No, but once at Wendys I got cheese on my regular hamburger.

Where can I add my name to the list of people who get things they didn't order?

I won an auction on a humidor earlier in the year and they didn't have it in stock. They said I could wait and they'd knock a couple bucks off or upgrade to a different humidor. I took the upgraded humidor. They really seemed interested in making things right. No problems with ordering cigars.

Rick ... I won a simple humidor that retails for $49 at CI (won it for $22), and they made a mistake and sent me the one that has all the accessories inside (retails at CI for $89) ...

When I called to tell them that they sent me the wrong one, they said I could send it back (they would pay for the shipping), or I could just keep it, as it was their mistake ...

... possession is 9/10ths of the law, BTW ;-)

JC -- you will be charged for what you bid on, simple as that.

I suppose you could possibly make the case that since you didn't order it, but they sent it anyway, that it was an unsolicited gift ... however, right is right and fair is fair ... if you called customer service and told them what happened and they responded to you as they did to Slim, you mightn't feel bad about keeping it ...

But in your shoes, I'd have a real problem knowing they made an honest mistake, but keeping it without such a blessing ... and even then, I'd have a real big sense of obligation to them ...

that's MY 2cts worth

JC: I have to agree with the senior members in this forum. Right is right, wrong is wrong, and fair is fair. I've found CB to be straightforward with there transactions. Do the right thing and give it back if you didn't pay for it...at least call them and perhaps work something out. It all balances out in the end.
My 2 cents worth.....Ed
