What does this Thomas Jefferson quote have to do with Barry and company trying to scrap our Constitution and turn us into a bankrupt European style Socialist nation? If you think that this somehow proves that our Founding Fathers would agree with the crap going on in our government today, then it just shows how naive you really are.

Take any quote to shoehorn in some point you think you're making isn't doing a damn thing. I'm a business student, not a political science major, we never talk politics lol. Also, I never said anything about current;y whats going on (I dislike current prez like the rest of you). just a simple quote that shouldn't have any more put into it than it already has.

Well thought out answer. I don't try to change peoples minds on any subject. I do think its funny though to see people attack people for their thoughts though. (future reference, it doesn't make you sound credible, nor will it change the way someone thinks)

The best thing is to actually be there the moment the idealism crashes and burns and they come to that realization. It is almost like you can see their soul leaving their body.
