The first Chicago Land Summer Herf was a resounding success; a great time was had by all!

Front Row: (L to R) knokmdwn (Ray), banderl (Bob), Glenn
Second Row: (L to R) Danny, Soundta (Jerry), Itsawaldo (Chris), JuyceMan (Mike), illinichaser (Jeremy), StogieJones (Alex), SmokeStaxx (Brad), Rogduk57 (Roger)

Good cigars and great conversation dominated the evening. It was a pleasure getting to know each BOTL and placing the face with the moniker and avatar!

Many thanks to Ray, our guest of honor, for suggesting the get-together while he was in town.

This will most definately become a regular occurance. I believe we all agreed on meeting at Jerry's Palatial Estate in October?!

Chicago Land BOTL... Thanks again for a great evening! It was a blast smoking, drinking, and kibitzing. Like I mentioned, it's fun to place the person with the moniker and avatar. Chris, Ray, Bob, and Jerry, thank you for the cigars. Brad and Alex, please thank Glenn for the awesome handmade glass ashtray!

You'll need to make sure you do! I'll keep you in the loop regarding the next herf (possibly October).

Sledn and I used to host a herf every fall here in Chicago. I will talk with him about resurrecting it.

Thanks for the pic. It's nice to be able to put a face with a name/handle and Smokestaxx (Brad) does look a little like Curly!

I know, right?! Brad is an outstanding BOTL and fun to herf with; but, all I could think, when I met him in person for the first time, was how appropriate his avatar is for him!

Wish I could have stayed longer, got home to the family and we had some good family time. Took my son to the Ohare in the morning and put him on a plane to Korea. Followed his flight on flightaware.com, really cool as I could see where his plane was throughout the day, even pinged me when he landed! Check it out!
He has had a good trip so far but as I write this it is 9am Monday and he will be on his way to his orientation, hope he is not too hung over!
See you all later this year for sure!

Chris - No worries! I'm glad you still made time to come to the herf! I hope all is well with your son and he is safe and beginning to settle in for his new career.

I've had the Flight Aware APP installed on my phone for sometime. It's great to watch my inbound flight while waiting at the airport.

That's a very personal question... Sarcasm

The moniker JuyceMan derives from my days running a couple of natural juice companies.

Dust off the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer and I'll consider it.

You'll find Naked Juice in most produce sections (pre-made juice smoothies).

Anyone hear from Jerry (Soundta)? Looks like his last activity here was over a year ago.
