What does this word mean?

Dhimmitude" is found in the new health care bill;
so what does it mean?

Dhimmitude -- What does it mean?

Obama used it in the health care bill. Now isn't this interesting?
It is used in the health care law.

Dhimmitude -- I had never heard the word until now. Type it into Google and start reading. Pretty interesting. It's on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists.. It is a REAL word.

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.
ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance.

Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

triumph daytona 675R. I had a daytona for a few years and got the R this last year. love the bikes, they are so narrow and flickable plus the torque of the 3 cylinder engine is amazing.

Not defending or attacking the health care act, but just throwing out one possible legal reason for the exemption: It avoids constitutional challenge to the health care law based on the First Amendment Freedom of Religion.Think

We have a few laws here in Florida, such as our No-Fault Auto Insurance Law that makes similar exclusions and variances for those who believe in faith healing and non-traditional treatment over standard medical care.

Don't know if that is the real reason or not, but it could be. one would have to read the legislative committee notes on that section of the Act...

I'm assuming you're referring to my second statement, in which case, it is an attempt to counter the negative bias the original author is trying to place on a word for having arabic origins.

But like any of that matters indeed.

Nice ride, oh yeah, the speed triple is great, almost as good as my Duc, lol. I am a big fan of the twin cyl. bikes, what can I say. My old Duc still puts a smile on my face all the time, and I know what you mean by the narrowness of the bike. Mine is like that too, those in-line 4's feel really wide to me.

Nobody thinks of all those new lightbulbs that require a hazmat team if they break in your house...we send mercury to China...they send it back in monitors and lightbulbs...our politicians give them exclusivity!

Now THAT'S Dim-a-tude!

yes, ducs are narrow too. those jap fours are so wide. They feel like a pig. the new bmw 1000rr is narrow too. I like the twin cyl bikes but they dont have the revs. the triple is a good moderation.

plastidip is the shizz!
