This isn't a question of who you want to win. The question is who do you think is actually going to be the president for the next four years.

I had a guy in the office tell me that I have been brainwashed by the liberal media and offered a $20 bet that Romney would win.

I took that wager before it was completely out of his mouth.

Brainwashed by the media. He listens to Rush. Think

Awww, what a quaint, Normal Rockwell, light snow in the Vermont countryside, view.

Would you like to make a wager as well on the November outcome?

I think Williard will win. And Rush is partially right, the polls are skewed by people who don't want to admit not voting for the token black guy.

Obama will win and it won't be close...either by vote or by the electoral college. The fact that we're even wondering if the polls are right (they are) is a testament to how bad this beatdown is going to be...

no....

Despite being no reason for reasonable people to vote for Barry, the unwashed gimme gimme masses will vote for him.

I think it will be very close and it could go either way..

Smart move. You know as well as every other Romney voter on this thread the Romney is way behind, and once Obama buries the robot in the debates, it won't even be remotely close.

Pretty sad to say that George W Bush has been the most polished and dynamic Republican nominee over the last 12 years.

Don't forget our wager!

For a minute, I actually thought of setting aside 5 Habanos just in case Romney pulled it off. Then I laughed and smoked them instead.

Obama CAN be had. I still remember how Alan Keyes easily manhandled him & showed him for the uninformed (constitutional) boob he was during the Illinois debates. Fortunately the informed unwashed masses rejected the "carpetbagging" Keyes & instead opted for their homegrown activist.Blink

I'm counting on the electorate to come through again for handsome Barry. Go soccer moms!

I remember blinky winky Palin holding her own when she went up against Biden.
I think wonky Ryan will make Joe's plugs explode out of his pea head from thinking so hard.

Either way, no matter. Obama till 2016. Hooverville here we come.Dancing

Actually, if you dig deep enough on the Politics forum, you can find me predicting back in 2011 that Romney would be the nominee and the Obamessiah would be re-elected. I had hope for crazy Uncle Ron for a while, but it was a fool's hope. Americans prefer empty suits.

No luck there. Many Soccer Moms have secret fantasies about being controlled by black men.

Romney can only count on women with aloof rich husbands with no social acumen.

Yes, for Romney. He must decidedly beat Obama in the first and win the second by the thinnest margin. A tie in the third would be enough But, the odds of this are not very good at all. If Obama wins the first in the mind of the voters, its over because people will not then watch two two two or three. T several key states. Each of those states in his race is for the middle has different kinds of voters. A change in one or two for Romney won't necessarily mean change in the others. IMO, Romney would be the winner if he hadn't moved so far to the right. I am not saying I have thought this from the outset, but it has become more apparent to me over the last 90 days. this was Romney's election to loose and it appears that is what he will do.

If it were Ryan v. Biden, it would be as big of a blowout as Obama over Romney is going to be.

Romney will wipe the floor with Barry in the debates.
Ryan will make our slow-speed yo-yo operator VP his bitch.

MSNBC will call it a resounding victory for Obama and Biden the next day.

The puffball mushroom heads who will vote for Obama and Biden will spend the week watching Dancing with the Stars, the Honey Boo Boo show and Springboob Squarepants.

Barry wins by a small margin because voter turnout isn't as fired up as it was 4 years ago, but we still gotta get our free stuff.

Atlas shrugs in the next 4 years.

I suspect Romney is far more socially polished than given credit for. He is highly likely polished in business as well. It's just doesn't translate right into presidential campaigning.

Maybe $20 in base, and then $5 per percentage point.

A tidy $40 win.

Romney just can't help coming off as a blend of Thurston Howell III and Montgomery Burns.

I use to really enjoy Glen Beck five, maybe even 3 years ago. Then he had his period and cried two our of four episodes, me made me believe he is unbalanced. I like right wing nuts more than left wing-nuts. But the dude needs to get a grip.

Jack,
We generally have agreed more than we've disagreed over the years. I believe your word to be true.

It doesn't have to be ten cigars; I'll take little joy in this victory.

A fiver of nice domestic cigars is the wager.

If Romney wins the election, I'll send to you.
If Obama wins, you send to me.

Do we have an agreement?
