This Saturday should be wild here in Columbus! I will be in the stands watching the Buckeyes extend their undefeated season -- if only for a while. I understand that Miami will hand us our heads on a platter.
Go Bucks!

p.s. there is only "one" true OSU -- that matters anyways for you Duck and Cowboy fans.

huskey,
"The Ohio State University" could----go-----all-----the-----way to the National Championship. Its too bad this transplanted buckeye is way out in Phoenix, AZ., so close to the Fiesta Bowl! :)

Let's see the Buckeye's in a VERY meaningful game, a game that means if they win they could go to Tempe...but wait this game is against Michigan, oh-no not the maize and blue. Rumblin, stumblin, if history is any indication OSU will fall this afternoon.

Rivalry weekend ... gotta love it ... Harvard v Yale, Ohio State v Michigan, Stanford v Cal ... UCLA v USC ... Texas v Oklahoma ...

I don't care where you live or how heated you think your rivalry is .... none of them, and I do mean NONE of them is more heated than Utah v BYU ... this one has every element that any of the other rivalries has and more ... and since the 'more' part is religion you just know that really stirs some souls. BYU sees Utah as being "the school of the devil" ... at Utah, we see BYU as overly pious and pompously sanctimonious, to say nothing of insufferably egotistical to believe tht somehow, god is on their team (or that at least, he will be guiding the hand of their quarterback) ...

Well, that may or may not be the case, but all I can say is, we're at home today and have the crowd on our side ... and since the stadium was remodeled to accomodate the opening and closing of the winter olympics, it's a much larger crowd ... GO, UTES!!!

Steve, I hate to burst your bubble.

Florida vs Florida State IS college football!

Even when they're not playing for a National Championship it's still for state bragging rights!

Believe me, I understand Florida v Florida State and bragging rights ... big rivalries are that way ... what I'm saying is that Utah v BYU has all that any of those have and the religion thing thrown in to boot ... so it's not only principal rival and state bragging rights ... it's god v satan ...

Huskey, I see you and I are both happy today ... in their "rivalry games", your guys beat Michigan and mine beat BYU ... I'd say that calls for a cigar !!

Oklahoma played Texas TECH tonight. not OU v. TX which is a big rival game. There are many Tx teams...A&M, Tech, Baylor, Rice, UTEP, SMU, etc.. Only UT @ Austin is the big one for OK..

Don't take offense....I just though I would help out..

no offense taken ... in the post above, I was commenting on some of the big rivalries, not necessarily todays' games .. I know that many big rivalry games are next week ...
