It is because the Republicans are going to push us off the financial cliff! Now instead of my iPhone 5 I'll just be getting two soup cans and I'll have to find my own string.

Is there a data package for Cambells soup cans?

Yeah! Unions killed the Twinkie. They paid the execs millions and millions to save it, but the unions just wouldn't play ball.

I hear that the unions created polio too . . . .

They prolly should have played ball. I'm sure the execs will be OK. Maybe even land a position in the Obama administration.

They didn't create it but they wanted time off because others had it. They also wanted benefits because other people who had polio got benefits.

You mean the union executives, right? Everyone at the negotiating table are executives. Meanwhile the golden goose is killed.

"After the election of Jimmy Carter the honorable Coleman Alexander Young, he went to Washington, D.C. He came home with some bacon. That's what you do… Our people in an overwhelming way supported the re-election of this president and there ought to be a quid pro quo and you ought to exercise leadership on that. Of course, not just that, but why not?"

-JoAnn Watson, Detroit City Council Member

I think she's looking for her Detroit bailout and her Obamaphone too.
