It is time for him to go away as the de facto leader of the Republicans.

We need a pragmatic group of leaders in both parties who can work together to find common ground which benefits all American people. Because the Republicans are controlled by big business and the democrats are controlled by the labor union leadership. Neither of which group gives a damn about any of us.

Rush is an example of what's wrong with America, as much so is Rachel Maddox. Instead of supporting compromises that are good for all, both simply twist and slant to vilify the opposition. At the end of the day, nothing meaningful is accomplished.

As far as the political system goes in general Republicans, Democrates, we need someone in there to regulate both parties. We should have a KING or a Neutral guy with enough power to make them work it out! Tell them they both should back the hell down and take care of the people or they are Fired! 98% of the time all the talk you hear on TV and Radio by anyone from either party is Political Posturing and Im sick of it. Democrates talk trash about the Republicans, Republicans talk trash about the democrates, its just a pissing contest and who ever has the biggest stick wins. At least thats what they think. Since no one can do anything about it they feel snug doing what they do and saying what they say.

He's just doing what the people voted him in to do.

Not that the minority would recognize that . . . .

What rugged good looks you must have . . . . . .

It is a picture of the Moai in my back yard.
Odd, but I like the reminder of Easter Island and the Rapa Nui. It reminds me of the fleating nature of life. It is one of my favorite symbols.

Not me, silly. I'm too fugly- my fat face avatar. Interesting sculpture though. Reminded me of the Easter Islands too.

Yes, life is very fleeting for some and not enough for others...

It was the best I could do for a Moai. They are tough to comeby.

It is an absurd universe. Sometimes I think the lack of fairness is there to teach us something . . . . .
Like life isn't fair or something . . .
It is a puzzlement.

Or maybe like a bicycle, to keep ballance you have to keep moving.

Or perhaps it is the smile on a dog . . . .

Yeah, even the main Republican "rival" for Speaker, Cantor, voted for weepy Boehner.
Stretch Pelosi's another gangster that won minority leadership as well.
The Kabuki continues.

Not a fan of Boner, but he should have quit, he is in a no win position. If he compromises, he is hated by the right, and if he doesnt he is hated by the rest.

Mitt Romney’s poor performance among minority voters, single women, and young people has led many top Republicans to call for an overhaul of the party’s image. Here are some options the GOP is considering to extend its appeal:

Start nominating hipper, more relatable 65-year-old men
Begin rolling the R’s in “deportation” and “border fence”
A bunch of abortions and stuff—whatever the gals want
Change nothing and wait for rest of country to come to its senses
Project youthful vibe by requiring Republican congressmen to walk around Capitol doing yo-yo tricks
Change party mascot to a Hispanic elephant
Start one of those Twitter hashtags
Eh, **** it—just disenfranchise as many people as possible

Saw Rand Paul last night on a snippet of Hannity. Man, I wish HE was the Senate Majority leader or Speaker of the House.Crying

...and yes, I can't handle Hannity for more than a snippet these days. The CNBC's/MSNBC's etc. for even less if at all.

I thought pdx was giving a kindness. I've never seen a party that was so out of touch with our country or that came across as such a 'whites only' club.

Let's face it, if they were my party, I'd shave their azz and teach 'em to walk backwards . . . .

You want to shave Tim Scott?

All righty then.

At least Mr. Scott is walking upright!

No one had the balls to call for a ballot vote. those who wanted him out were just 17 swing-votes off. many didn't vote at all until they were pressured by the established party leaders like cantor. Closer than most would think. He's a lame duck. One more miscalculation or disengagement and he is gone. Its coming during the looming budget fight. He's toast- for the good of us all. Say hello to Eric Cantor, my friends.
