Where does the US have military bases?

Brick wall

In around half that list of nations. Most notably not Israel and Egypt.

WTF knows. We had a pristine opportunity to overturn the proverbial "apple cart" in Iran...the youth only wanted our mouthpiece as support...they were willing to toss the religious zealots out of their government and we did nothing.

Then in Egypt we went "all-in" for a militant islamofascist group of thugs to toss out a guy who was almost as bad, but had control of the people and understood the military really runs the nation.

Both of these nations would love to see Israel wiped from the map and have been vocal about it. Our current clowncar is compliant in supporting them with weapons or ramping up the march to war. We don't have "allies" there anymore. We've meddled in their business and the blowback is what we get for CIA controlled demolotion of nations in that region.

The sooner we just implode under our own debt being the world cop the better.

Selling weapons, music and movies...that what we do.

Those nations will delight in any stumble we take and will dogpile at every instance...ever wonder where the massive support is for the Iraqis? Who's supplying them with weapons, soldiers streaming across the border just to take a hit at our boys? Think Say it?

IRAN.

A thorn that should've been removed by the highly educated youth of Iran that the Kenyan King let die on the vine.

I never thought I would applaud this.Applause
To say that we are putting our boys and girls in harms way for the interests of the American taxpayer is a travesty and a lie. That is why I no longer thank servicemen for their "service" abroad. I consider it a dangerous job involving nation destroying and rebuilding that is meted out by self- serving military contractors whose loyalties lie elsewhere ($$$) NOT in our country. Put them to work protecting our borders or searching for terrorists within our border. THEN, they are doing a service for our country!

Those US bases in Israel are a secret though.

I knew a friend's husband who was with a fighter squadron in Jordan during the First Gulf War but of course we were never really there.

Why...that sounds just like my "vacation" in Nicaragua...in the mid 80's!

Quonson huts with several DMZ's...even a claymore minefield...why those orders never appeared in my jacket.

Plausible denial is a wonderful thing.

Add another "YES" to the list!

AMMAN — The United States plans to deploy 200 troops in Jordan because of "the deteriorating situation" in war-torn Syria, Information Minister Mohammad Momani said on Wednesday.

"The deployment of the troops is part of US-Jordanian military cooperation to boost the Jordanian armed forces in light of the deteriorating situation in Syria," Momani told AFP.

He did not say when the troops were scheduled to arrive in Jordan.

"US and Jordanian officials have been in touch for the past two days. It is still unclear if military equipment and weapons will arrive with the group, who will come to the kingdom in the coming stage."

Jordan, a key US ally in the region, says it is hosting around 500,000 Syrian refugees.

Prime Minister Abdullah Nsur told parliament on Sunday that the impact of Syria's war posed a threat to the kingdom's security and Jordan would seek the UN Security Council's help to tackle the fallout.

I didn't mention Kyrgyzstan as a middle eastern allied nation because that county is in central Asia.

On that same note, I must remove Pakistan from the list because that nation is in south Asia.

No disrespect was intended towards our "Stanian" friends.

At this point it might actually be easier to list the nations that DO NOT have a US military base on them.

Can I get some of that money back now that we're throwing away?

Wikipedia says the USA has troops in over 150 nations. There are only 195 nations with 193 in the UN. (Taiwan doesn't count as a nation....it is a rogue province.)
