Liberal on all things. I'm pretty conservative on fiscal and military things but liberal on environmental and some social policies. As are most people. fog

I'm for what makes the most sense.. I resent being labeld as a Conserviaive or Liberal. As for a Party i am Republican. We are frequently mistaken for Ultra Cons because the Liberal Media has projected us as that . Well we were the Party that ended Slavery and lowered taxes when America was enslaved by BIG Taxes. Why anyone would want to be a Liberal is beyond my comprehension..

I am fiscally quite conservative and am Constitutionally conservative- I believe that it means what it says, and is not open to modernization or interpretation.

I am socially liberal in that I don't care what you do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

Death penalty- hell yes. Abortion- up to the mother, not my business.

Love Jesus, hate goats- good for you. Love goats, hate Jesus- good for you too.

Close the borders. Here illegally once- throw them out. Here illegally twice- death penalty.

Social programs- hell no. Work or starve.

Does that make me liberal or conservative? Don't know.

I couldn't say it much better myself. I agree with what you said and would stand shoulder to shoulder with you. I believe there will be a day where we will have to because the progressives are giving away the free candy. One of these days they will have to see a dentist. What a day of reckoning that will be.

I'm with you and the good Dr. on all but this, getting pregnant IS already up to the Mother, it's a preventable health care issue and yet we ALL know there are babies out there being killed too far along in the pregnancy. And the ones you really want to get them don't as they use their children as "free meal tickets"

I understand that your point is that we should be tough on repeat offenders but It looks like you don't believe in the 5th, 6th and 7th amendments to the constitution? I guess it's OK to just throw out any parts of the constitution/bill of rights that are "troublesome". I don't believe that you can call yourself a Constitutional conservative and not accept all of the articles and amendments to the constitution.

I also know that the constitution is and has always been open to modernization and interpretation (as is built into the constitution in Article V)

Are they trying to throw us off the track?
Is they stoopeed?
Is it like some voodoo foonabla that is supposed to scare people without fire insurance?

I do accept all parts of the constitution. I believe that the constitution of the United States only applies to citizens of the United States. People that are not citizens that enter the United States illegally are invaders or maybe even insurgents and should be treated as such. The constitution of the United States does not apply to them.

Article V provides for amending the constitution. I failed to look at amending the constitution as modernizing it, though I guess that is what is being done when it is amended. I always looked at amending the constitution as a way of addressing an issue that did not exist when it was written, which is another way of saying modernizing it, so you are correct.

I was referring more to the quibbling over trying to redefine what words mean to try to twist what was written by the authors to make the parts of the constitution mean something different than what was intended.

The Klan burns crosses so the light of Jesus can go out into the dark world...it's odd, I know.
