google is your friend. several different processes used to cake the bottom of a bowl to build it up. honey and ash worked for me but that was years ago.

Ok I've decided I like this so much I broke out an unsmoked D.G.Erwin custom cob(Diplomat bowl, walnut shank and a DGE custom 1/4 bent stem).I'm dedicating this pipe to this blend and this blend only. After vacation I am going to search out a couple 3 more pounds to put back for a rainy day.Best Vaper to date........and as much as I hate say it,it edged out Dunhill De Luxe Navy Rolls.Didn't see that one coming at all.

I bought the only 1 lb bag I could find.Found tins in several places.I picked up the bag for a multiparty split on another site.......it was a whoever could score first deal.I saw the 250 gram($43 IIRC)bag available on a site but they wanted damn near what I paid for a pound($51).If I run across more I'll keep you on my short list.

425 - PS Luxury Bullseye Flake thanks to critter!

Carl sent me a nice little sampler of the above, plus 3 different hearth and homes... much appreciated carl... the household (myself included) has the flu right now, but I snuck out nonetheless and tried some of the bullseye today...

Sooooooo much better than the aromatic junk I've been smoking... the strike force smells intense! stunk up the whole house when I opened the box... can't wait to try it, but I want to go grab a pipe just for it first... thanks again carl...

good idea. only tobacco my wife doesn't appreciate, even unsmoked. had to triple bag and jar it up. let me know what of the others you like.

430-formers straight grain. i got a sleeve of this coming. will be picking up more tins of the beacon extra on orders for cellaring. ps bullseye, st james flake, va 2015, so many blends and so little time

No but I just read some reviews.....I'll have to pick a tin up next order.I'll try almost anything as long as it's latakia free or very lite.

Where Dan's really shined for me is in the va/vaper department.I love Hamborger Veermaster,Tordenskjold Virginia Slices and now Patriot Flake.Three of the best I've found right there.
