I liked it, first go at the Tambolaka. Definitely kicked the MR up a notch or two.

Hug back at ya, Greg!

20673 Hal O The Wynd in a Flogglewerks pipe from their Pipe of the Month Club
20674 C & D's Exhausted Rooster in a Savinelli Trevi
20675 Kendal Kentucky in a Savinelli unfinished natural
20676 Half & Half in a MM cob (still working my way through some of the blends my dad used to smoke)
20677 C & D's Briar Fox in a MacQueen Ranger

Mostly while watching women's college hoops and sipping single malts.

Now that we are getting sappy around here, I may have to resort to popping open a tin of a maple aromatic. Or go the opposite direction and hit the G & H ropes hard. Or both. Some days I waste so much time trying to decide what to smoke that I end up grabbing a cigar to solve the problem. Awful problem to have. I know.

I also need to quit reading what you guys are smoking that I haven't tried. I see it, wonder about it, find the reviews, wonder some more, and then order some despite telling myself that I have more tobacco cellared than I can ever smoke in my lifetime. Even with Grumpie grabbing a bowl periodically, still no way we could consume it all. Ah well, when "Cigarmaggedon" comes and we can no longer purchase tobacco online, y'all can come over to Moose Manor and enjoy some of our leaf.

20682 - H&H Freight Train. Just got an oz. in yesterday to try and I am definitely going to be ordering more. I'm thinking 1/2 lb. should be good for starters. Instantly one of the best blends this old boy has ever put in a pipe. Awesome stuff.

You ARE referring to PIPE tobacco, right ? Think

I only mention it as I have purchased "other leaf" in the past that was labeled "Freight Train". ThumpUp

Ha! Not this blend, definitely a different level of ....mmm...enjoyment? ;o) This PIPE tobacco is quickly becoming a daily favorite. Between Freight Train and Virginia Spice I've been on an H&H kick these days.

...oh, yeah... 20683 - G&H Sliced Brown rope with a hit of perique in a Tinsky. Can't get by without regular visits to the Lake District... via St. James Parish...

20705 McC No 25 Matured Virginia in a cob

I have messed around with the pre-bored kits a bit, Greg. And taken some unfinished factory pipes and put a stain made from tobacco on them and shined them up. Both have been fun for me but the results are not so impressive.
