Can't, I'm busy on my ladder with binoculars looking for suspicious activity. Hey! We all contribute to the neighborhood watch in our own special way.Anxious

I was gonna go as a gesture of solidarity, but I got distracted. I had a beer (hydration is very important in this hot weather), mowed the lawn, bullshatted with my neighbor for awhile, fed my cat, then drove out to the local sportsman's club and put some rounds downrange with my old SKS. I think I need new glasses or something. Then I drove home, cleaned it, and put it back in the garage.

So did I miss anything important? Think

Saw an interview with a white women at one of the protests. She said "it's horrible how this young boy was just walking home, and that man walked up to him and shot him". Are folks really this stupid (rhetorical question)?

Its less about gloating and more about frustration over seeing a fair trial (which had no grounds to take place to begin with) being re-tried in an impromptu court of public stupidity.

Its sad, really. And the media continues to show pictures of a yet uncorrupted young kid kissing his baby brother as if it were the day before it all went down. Still today.

So the king idiot uses the opportunity to rail against our 2A rights, alleges we need to reexamine our God-given right to self defense, and incites more vandalism and violence in the name of it all.

History will one day damn us for failing to drag this imposter into a courtroom and find him guilty of impersonating an American President.

and stuff.

Violence committed on a different race (white or black, black on white etc.) Is wrong.

So for today, I promoted white on white and black on black violence.

Chicago seems to have taken appropriate action.

My grandkids are mixed, so does that mean they can commit violence against both whites and blacks, or just other mixed race kids? Then again, if they follow the precedent set by our mixed race president, I guess they're allowed to bring pain and misery down upon ALL races.

I smashed the front window of the local electronics store and got my 65-inch Trayvon TV. Then I can watch all the shootin's and stabbin's on the news in 1080P hi-def Dolby surround. For Trayvon.Frying pan

Nah, I'm just kiddin'. I don't watch the news. It'll probably be the NBA.

Take careful note what the President had to say,the way he said it and the context in which it was said: When his term ends, he will become the de facto national spokesman for colored people. All the others will fall by the wayside fast and hard. That should bring you glee, not consternation.

Does Jesse and Al know he's running against them since they're so used to running unopposed? Who will be his nominee for Vice Colored Person?

He doesn't care to embrace our young white teen men living in poverty, only the black ones. By far the most racial Press Conference I've ever heard from any President. His prejudice showed while telling us not to be.

Outside the NAACP, who uses the term "colored person" any more?
You sound like Archie Bunker.

And you're 100% right.
This president is creating racial divide with extreme hypocrisy.

Think about it:
The first African-American president elected (then RE-elected) is telling us that we're a racially motivated country.
The majority of voters put him in office. Yet we're a racist nation.

Nobody denies that racism exists, but when the PRESIDENT tells us that EVERY black man in America knows what it's like to be followed in a store??

I'm a white dude.
I can tell you what it's like to be followed in a store.
I guess if I were black, I could blame my color.
Instead, I have to assume that I fit a profile or it was just an instance of circumstance for any number of reasons.

So many questions are left to be answered.
Like, if I followed David Ortiz in the store for his autograph, is it because he's black?
And, is David Ortiz really black, or just a "black Hispanic"?

I think what he is trying to say is young black teen males living in poverty are just naturally inferior to young white teen males living in poverty so they need extra embracing

Given that Zimmerman is now and will forever be referred to as a white Hispanic, shouldn't we start referring to Obama as the first white African-American president?

That's a little confusing because there ARE actual white hispanics out there- Inca Zimmy's not being one of them of course. He's mestizo. Then again, you bring up a good point. Since Zimmy's "white", why is white not good enough for a mulato president or even Elizabeth Warren the "blond Indian"? It's reverse racist racism divide by reciprocal racism if you aks me.Confused

That in itself is a prejudice statement. Who said black teen males are "naturally" inferior to whites? Who said anyone is inferior to anyone else. If we are all equal no one is inferior.

If a group does not like being profiled in a certain way, then change your actions and attitude as a group. Become part of the solution, instead of continually feeding the problem and living off the sympathizers falsely created.

I think the term African-American is an epithet, and further believe everyone who embraces the term as legitimate is a racist. I'm not European-American. I'm an American.

I do have a friend who's becoming a US citizen and emigrated from South Africa. He's the only African-American I know, and he's a white guy. He looks forward to becoming a plain American.

Black people who have lived in this country for as many generations as have I should be enraged at becoming hyphenated Americans by the politicians and media. Its a lie.

But to answer DadZilla, I don't think we should refer to Obama as an American at all. I invite anyone who thinks he is an American to prove it - including 'ole Barry hisself.

^ That ship came and sailed long ago. You can't be literal when what defines us is being made up, er, I mean being re-defined by the culture of the moment. Eventually you WILL be officially classified as a Euro (or European) American for the purpose of further Balkanization and keeping us controllable. You nor I can do anything about it. Your friend from Africa is not African, he is white. Yet, Fred from Philly is African... Don't that logic beat all? HAHAHA

Unless you're ready to hit the streets, learn to live with it.

Your grand kids should be VERY CAREFUL when committing violence. Ideally, they attack people not only mixed, but the same mix as well. So if the are black/white, have them us caution as an attack on a black/latino would be obviously a ratially motivated hate crime.

^ short answer- when unsure, remember whites are always fair game

There's more black and latino on white crime than any other with the possible exception (percentage- wise, probably not numerically) of black on black.

But are president is actually " African?/American? "
We're not really sure.
