Al Gore (D) did the same thing. And Gore's (D) audience fell for it the same as Obama's (D) audience does now.

I criticize our marginally documented president every chance I get, and it has nothing to do with the fact that he is of white/ African-American heritage. I. Having a tough time with the media not referring to him as a failing white president.

When he was initially elected, and everything was wonderful, he was black.
