When the children can't get along the adults need to step in and get things sorted out.

All of Washington is just one large play pen of children who keep saying "mine"!! If you don't let me win I'm going to take my ball and go home.

It's pretty bad when both party's leaders are so weak and scared of their own party's members. They won't go against the fringe elements of their party's because they are only concerned with getting re-elected. They are afraid that if they piss off the Tea Party or the radical left they will have to face a strong challenge from those groups in a primary election which will drain their funds and possibly cost them the general election.

Just sad. Politics of corruption. fog

Re-election is the #1 priority for all politicians.

The grand comedy is the US government cannot function this fiscal year unless we take on another trillion in national debt.

“Now, this debt ceiling — I just want to remind people in case you haven’t been keeping up — raising the debt ceiling, which has been done over a hundred times, does not increase our debt; it does not somehow promote profligacy. All it does is it says you got to pay the bills that you’ve already racked up, Congress. It’s a basic function of making sure that the full faith and credit of the United States is preserved.”
