The important thing is that everybody got a little something for their vote. For instance, the "highly principled" Mitch O'Connell returned to KY with a 2 Billion goodie bag. Good for him!

I always figured the Democrats were "can do" sort of guys but the Boehners, Kings, McCains, and Lindsays of the world are truly awe inspiring! Sarcasm

understood. the same can has been kicked several times in the last few years without a shutdown. I'm thinking another may be on it's way.
