Unlike the rest of those lucky enough to be covered by Obamacare, the dependents of U.S. Military members don't enjoy those awesome protections.
Instead, of being covered by their parent's plan until age 26 as "promised" by Obamacare, unmarried biological and adopted children loose coverage under Tricare on their 21st birthday or on their 23 birthday if enrolled in a full course of study at a approved institution of higher learning and the sponsor continues to provide 50% of the child's financial support even if the sponsor gets divorced or remarried.
Perhaps they will continue until everyone is waivered out of Obamacare???
