And if it passes, we're **** E D to a farethewell.....fog

Liked this commentary on the subject as well:

“The president, who has repeatedly called for an overhaul of U.S. immigration laws, praised the activists for their “sacrifice and dedication” during their 17-day-old “Fast for Families.”

How sweet. Was he praised the veterans who fought for this country’s freedom when he was shutting down war memorials a few months ago? Has he reached out to the families of the Benghazi victims and provided them with real answers? Has he shown such compassion for actual existing American citizens whom he has hurt with his “signature legislation”? So many of these people are dealing with life-threatening illnesses and had established relationships with their insurance provider and their doctor(s).

You have to be from somewhere else for Obama to give a rip—he flat out does not care about the people of this country. This is just a sideshow with the hopes of passing legislation that will bolster the Democratic vote—nothing more.

I have to agree with your assessment Jamie, if we don't STOP the " indocrinization " and " lowering of standards " in the name of political correctness.....we're HOSED

Looks to me like we're pretty well hosed and heading further down not only in this area, but others.

We do not have a high enough birth rate to sustain the population. As population declines, so do economies, business activity, profits - at the same time as providing a smaller base of population to tax.

from http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/15/us-birth-rate_n_1779960.html

"The U.S. birth rate now is 1.9 births per woman over her lifetime, when 2 births per woman is necessary to sustain the population on its own. Because of immigration, the population is still growing"

The correlation between decline in birth rate and declining is pretty clear and the trend has been well known for some time.

IMO, this is one of the major reasons immigration laws have not been enforced in the US. Not to mention adding people paying into Social Security as we transition into more drawing from, than paying into.

I hate to see it, but I'm thinking that's where we are headed.

here's my take,,,

The vast majority of illegals will never want to be citizens,

If they did they will have to pay taxes, which they don't now and aren't penalized.

wheel,

And that is why almost ALL employers either collect taxes on their employees, because left to the employee....many Americans would probably NOT pay either. Now the BIG difference is. we're already documented and given SS#s so they can begin to tax us at birth!!!!
They ( Illegals ) on the other hand go undocumented and untaxed while they tap into all our other social welfare programs and medical facilitiesFrying pan

A site I frequently read.

About 2/3 BS, but I figure that 1/3 is a relatively high amount of accuracy.
