FoxNews - An American citizen who was working at an international school was shot and killed in the Libyan city of Benghazi Thursday morning, a school board member told Fox News.

Adel Mansouri said the teacher was shot around lunchtime near his home.

Medical and security sources told Reuters that the man was targeted by gunmen as he was exercising.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Must have been the film.

Tragic whenever anyone is murdered but I have mixed feelings on this one. These people that willingly go to these war zones know the risks and dangers and they go there generally to make more money: I don't see this as an issue to "go to the mattresses" on. US citizens are killed all over the world every year. JMO

Yep, what you say is true. But if we had taken earlier action this incident may not have occurred.

Unfortunately, nobody REALLY cares anymore about that or any other issues that don't pertain to their pocketbooks.
We've evolved as a culture.

Any fear of consequences they might have had in the past is now minimal.

It is a tragedy that this happened. My sympathies to the family.

I hope that the Libyan government will aggressively pursue his killers, and bring them to justice.

That said. It seems to me that an American citizen going out for a jog on the streets of Benghazi, Libya, in this day and age, is risking his life. A lack of common sense. (imho)
