They lie about the amount of the deficit when the governments own web site

Shows that we are on a track for a trillion dollar annual deficit.

And if the US government had to use GAAP, as I do - the deficit would be substantially higher, and contingent liabilities would destroy the balance sheet.

Where do we wind up?

I wish I knew, but this article gives food for thought.

I am an old fart. If in fact I live as long as my expectations are, I expect there will be some form of resolution of these issues in my lifetime.

So many people get caught up in liberal vs conservative, repub vs demo, and I would hope that more people become aware that it is all about money and our monetary system.

Our lives and futures are being determined by unelected officials that represent the moneyed interests.
