New haircut, new diet & exercise routine, new wardrobe, and new biography specials about Moochelle's life on CNN and other news media.
My guesstimate is only cost us a couple Million, including my reinvigorated personal disdain for this woman.

She would have to have one first to get a new one. All she has right now is a POS, not a man.

I honestly don't understand why you guys have such an axe to grind for Michelle. I can understand about Hillary but Michelle really hasn't been too bad. Oh well. Carry on.

Hey, ask Rick about Laura Bush. Seriously, she is the first lady and wants to tell people how to live = open season.

I thought this thread was about Michelle; not Palin or Laura. Nice deflection on both accounts. Never really had any problems with Laura but I think that Palin is a nut case.

So what exactly do you think the " Entitled " First Lady meant when she said " For the first time in her life she was finally proud to be an American " The First Lady of Racism " I friggin guarantee you that based on skin color alone....she was afforded more opportunities than I EVER dreamed of!!!

How is this different from any other "Entitled" rich person? None of us will ever have the opportunities of the truly rich and powerful people in this world.

Not deflection at all if you retained the entirety of my statement Buckwheat.

Palin was hated as an unknown simply for being nominated. What and how did she ever effect anyone?

My point was the parallels of the two womens impact on Americans and the level of vitriol one has received despite one having far less real impact on anyones life.

They both are public figures and will therefore get ridicule right or wrong. Calling one a name based off an opinion doesn't justify ridicule to me.

I've been a bit disturbed by the amount of vitriol for a woman who's really done nothing wrong.

I'm particularly disturbed by the focus on her appearance.

To the best of my knowledge, Obama doesn't post here... and I don't think anyone else is having sex with her. So why do people who are never going to have any reason to care about her looks so focused on them? You will never, ever, in your entire life have the opportunity to say to Michelle Obama, "no thanks, I think you're too fat to have sex with". Your opinion on her looks is absolutely value-less.

Highly doubtful. And, its not her skin color that got her more opportunities you ever dreamed of. One makes their own opportunities in life. They don't just fall into our laps from above.

Interesting...
I don't think anyone has used the word hateful in this thread other than you, not sure why you "quoted" it.

Anyway," nutjob ku nt" is a more appropriate insult in my mind.

When all the insults are about her weight, her looks, her arms, calling her "sasquatch" or "moochelle", it brings up a very questionable double standard.
President's wives are rarely attractive. Given they are usually in their 40s or older, they usually look matronly at best. No one is going to put Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton or any of the others in a playboy spread. Yet this first lady has gotten an uncomfortable amount of negative attention surrounding her looks.... when she's arguably at least in the middle of the pack in US history (seriously, look up photos of the US first ladies). She's younger than many, thinner than many, has a better body and more youthful face than many.

Yet all this negative attention on her appearance.

Keep in mind that people don't post solely in one thread based off of what's in it.

I quoted nut job because it was mentioned here the other part was from Rick in multiple other threads.

I actually agree with almost everything you just said Victor, a lot gets lost here because of the medium. Oftentimes here I use absurd things to point out absurd things. In the example of Michelle my absurdity is going off of the ground rules that Ricks set. To me right or wrong is in the eyes of the viewer. You have to allow yourself to be offended and personally I don't mind being offended at some time to change my view of things.

I have mocked her appearanceto also her willingness to control things that parents should. Does she really look like Chewbacca? No. What bothered me about what was posted above was about someone's opinion and beliefs compared to what soneone else has done. Do I agree with Michelle's politics no but I would not wish her to die or go away from the public I just because I disagree with her.

The other day I saw a bumper sticker that had the circle with a line through it and underneath of that was tea party. The idea that other opinions don't have a right to exist to something bothers me.

But that's the interesting idea. You think all opinions have a right to exist. Their opinion was that there should be no tea party... badum bum....

Everyone can have their opinion. That's great. But being free to have your opinion does NOT grant a person freedom from being told they're wrong, stupid, racist, mentally handicapped, purple, or any other trait their expressed opinion suggests. If you told me it was your opinion that the earth rotated around the moon, I'd have every right to tell you that it's my opinion you're an idiot.

This should help.

watchdog.org - "President Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia left Oahu after 15-day holiday vacation in a beachfront luxury home in Kailua, Oahu.

They also left a pretty big bill.

The Obamas’ vacation cost taxpayers more than $4 million for travel, staffing, security, housing, car rentals and transportation of vehicles and a helicopter.

But the expenses continue.

First lady Michelle Obama extended her own vacation, flying to the island of Maui, where she is spending time with family friend Oprah Winfrey. Winfrey’s magazine describes the home as a “perfect 21st-century farmhouse” in a “remote up-country region, where the houses that dot the moss-covered rock hillside face the ocean.”

The president said he sent his wife to Maui as an early birthday present; she turns 50 Jan. 17."

Highly doubtful huh? You didn't say that with much conviction
You are correct Robert, it was a combination of skin color and the fact that she's a bottom feeding attorney of law.

This is what I was wondering, the cost, not making accusations about her big asss or her baboon like features or the way her and her partner made their millions. I wanted to know how much their entertainment is costing all us poor folks.

That doesn't sound very expensive.
She's hanging out with Oprah in her Maui home? Sounds like she's saving the taxpayers money. No hotel cost, no need to rent out an entire block of a hotel for security reasons...

what are you complaining about exactly?

Which exist for every first lady, and which need to be deployed any time she's not at her house.
She could spend her birthday in a shack in detroit and that cost would be present.

Is your stance that every first lady past and present should spend their birthday at the white house (and no fancy parties either!) because I'm betting that anyone with time on their hands could find first ladys travelling for their birthday.

Maybe if you jack@sses stopped posting so many things about how angry you are about the first lady, they wouldn't have to spend so much on security....

Victor, the idea is to whip everyone into a rage. Your point that this is nothing out of the ordinary for a 1st lady is counterproductive. It's bad enough that we don't have any real issues to carp about, he you are distroying the illusion.

Get with the program, will you?

What's maddening is that there ARE real issues to carp about. Doesn't matter if you're right wing or left, the president has probably done something to piss you off... And was probably wrong.

He's not a flawless president. He's done a number of things I dislike. But all I hear is how much $ it costs for them to travel (no more than any other president), how fat his wife is (like that's relevant to a presidency) and other similar crap.
