'I backed Hillary Clinton, I backed Al Gore, I backed John Kerry. I am done with them'!

Sirius Radio host Howard Stern is incensed that Democratic members of the Federal Communications Commission oppose his network’s upcoming merger with Satellite XM Radio. As a result, he vowed never to vote for another Democrat again.

Although the merger passed FCC scrutiny, it was done against the wishes of Democrats, who the “shock jock” called “communists” and “gangsters.”

He described a phone conversation he’d had with his agent earlier on his Friday show to sidekick Robin Quivers.

I've never taken a dime from anyone. Between my wife and I we have four degrees. Save for my extremely manageable mortgage I'm debt free.

What did I tell ya yesterday. The most liberal of folks are leaving the party in disgust. Howie's disgust and claim is that this is the last time he is voting for a party that will no longer help his special interest- this party has become conservative and looking out for the well-being of the society, even if it means losing their biggest supporters.

His confession is eyeopening, how people cry when they dont get to rape us.

I bet Jack missed that tiny detail.
I should have seen myself when he said he voted for Kerry, Hillary and Al Gore. We should remind him that all the people he voted for LOST. He LOST.

You're a worthless prick who's only reason for being here is to stir up shit. You don't talk about cigars, trade cigars... in fact you add no relevancy to this forum at all.

I'm done with you.

That sounds wrong out of context. I was referring to Howard Stern leaving because his liberal needs were not met. My point being this is the most conservative the democratic party has ever been. Including Obamacare which is a policy straight out of the conservative handbook.

It’s something you drink when you eat steak.

Obamacare is out of the conservative play book? How is that?
(yes. I know I will be sorry I asked).

It was both, originally proposed by republicans, and the only other time it was used was by republican governor Romney.

Fundamentally it absolutely conservative. The conservative dogma is personal responsibility. Obamacare forces everyone to pay into healthcare. Whereas, all previous solutions only asked the wealthy to pay in (i.e obtained free from employers). In fact so ridiculous was health insurance and hospital pricing, that it was not even available to the general public. Which goes against capitalism (the other pillar of conservatism)

I am a dyed in wool (as opposed to koolaid) lifelong conservative, and you heard it from me, history will look back on Obama as the conservative. Not unlike Theodore being the true champion of democrats.

Not to interrupt your friendly exchange but to me Obama and Holder behave like crypto fascists who hate intellectual or constructive engagement & resort to IRS/DOJ mafioso tactics. Free speech codes have been implemented in Canada and England and they now have no real speech. We are quickly approaching this 100 years of darkness...

I also don't have a problem with Obamacare aka Medciaid for most. As I've said many a time, we've always been headed towards a lower standard of living. Yes, the insurance companies were raping us for a long time & the health industry went along with the skyrocketing charade but when the Government should have dealt with insurance companies (pharma's dolts), regarding pre-existing conditions, exclusions, alternative therapies, and prevention, they didn't. Now we pay the piper as they raise premiums and offer substandard care.

Bloody,

The part of Obamacare that is terrible is the fact that it still leaves the Health Insurance companies in power. Then again they always were. So it hasnt gone backwards. What has gone forward is that, now, the common man will feel the pain. You are going to have to uncompress this, otherwise I would be typing for a mile. The easiest way to get rid of Mafioso, pass on their pain to the common man- there would be a revolution. The mafia only survives because they tax business and claim to be for the common man.

People are smarter than they appear to me, Obama is all about legacy, the legacy he wants is not first Black president to increase welfare- its first democratic president that was more conservative than the conservatives. Sometimes the most well behaved on a golf course is the person that was never allowed there, and now all eyes are on him.

Compay, your posts are like onions. They make my eyes water as I peel (analyze & dissect) them.
I mean that in a nice way.

The reason that I find your take interesting is that at some point radical liberalism and true conservatism meet.

May i offer another perspective to that circle. Radical conservatism invariably results in liberalism. Look no further than Spain and France, the birthplace of conservatism.

A hole in one with a shot that has been failed by all predecessors would be illogically ambitious.

Oh, a birdie is one under par. So typically a hole in three. Given a par 4, a hole in one would be a double eagle. A birdie would be him doing one stroke better than par.

I might say it's an eagle with a mulligan . . .

Radical conservatism?

This is a misclassification.

What is the intent/motive?

Simple

Huge pool of untapped emotionally charged folks. All the extreme whiners; they are killing babies- the sky is falling. Every noticed none of the doomsday peppers are democrats.

It was a gamble that backfired. At the end of the day America has more who believe in a brighter future than not.

True- LOL! You're right, there's something a little disturbing to me about a couple of old, dried out, successful jews from my generation kvetching & probing.
It's like watching two over thinking schizophrenic neurotics spar from a secret hiding place.

Must admit that I look forward to shows like this and Inside Comedy.

Point is we all see and dislike the obvious forms of welfare; such as a poor person looking for a handout for medicine for his children. What we dont see is the welfare for the wealthy, such as how some rich snob hung like a female bodybuilder will ask for and get a congressional hearing into non-performing enhancement pills.

Just stopped in & glanced at this & Brew's dry, irreverent post. lol

Of course we see the welfare for the wealthy and the many perks of the privileged. I think that wet fish first slapped our face when "trickle down" didn't work & then big time in 2008 when the frick & frack of presidencies (W & Barack) sold us (out) & signed off on the Tarp bailouts. Corporate welfare is sold as good for the little guy because it's a job creator and grows the economy yadayadayada.

I don't think I've ever seen more hatred for the rich and powerful than there is now and a lot of it is justifiable (the veil has been partially lifted). It's just that the politicians are pretending it's business as usual.

And the cleverest thing the top end does is to say 'dont focus on us, look at that maricone picking strawberries for $4.00 an hour, he is robbing us blind'.
