Instead of reporting on the real issues of the day, many if not all media outlets cover garbage best left to the enquirer that most of us could care less about. This thread will serve as a running tally on A) the real issues at the time and B) the simultaneous "unicorn" that is covered instead of the real story. It might be fun as the thread grows to go back and revisit the old unicorns of the past.

Real Story:
President gives control of the Internet away - repercussions will be censorship, taxation and further weakening of US defenses. Nothing but crickets from the story tellers...
Unicorn:
Where'd that darn airplane go?! We just can't figure it out! Look at all the pretty pictures of any aircraft control panel we can find, and lets talk to people who have flown, have flown in, or like to look at pretty pictures of airplanes! 24/7 coverage on every channel...
