The militarization of police is not a good thing.

Did you watch any of the house to house search for the Boston Marathon bombers, AKA sh|te bags number one and two?

I'm confused. I thought we wanted more folks heavy armed. For example military folks on base to stop mass killings. I remember because the logic was it ended the first time he ran in to an armed person.

Of course that didn't work at ci cis pizza and walmart. Maybe those cops needed more hardware and they wouldn't have ended up under a don't tread on me flag.

Funny thing those two shooters. They probably were against the "militirization" of police and could spew their message openly as of late while in the past they and their message would have been considered fringe rather than mainstream.

Armed citizens not a domestic army. Nothing short of living inside of an armored vehicle would have saved those two officers, may they RIP, from the two loser sh|t bags that ambushed them.

Agree with you there.

I take issue with (but have no solution for/to) the fact that in todays climate they are able to hide in plain sight.

It's a similar issue to that of racism and the Pres. Most that criticise the Prez are not racist and its unfair to call them that. The problem is there are a number of folks (perhapse larger than you know) that are racist and are sharing the same messaging in part (ie a subset). You can't call them out on it because it is impossible to find the clear line of who is who. Thus it's a catch 22, one that provides very fertile ground for an ugly element of society.

extremists have always latched on to mainstream messages in order to hide. Islam, christianity, any given government etc.

It's no ones fault. It's just a fact of life.

This isn't the first post where you're trying to make hay out of the clownshoes in the Oval Office now and race. Is there some point you're trying to make or are you just attempting to make it true by saying it in every thread?

I know more people that voted for the Kenyan King ONLY because he was black than I do real race hating morons. THAT'S racist.

I called him out for what he was when he announced he was going to run for POTUS 18 months in his senate seat. NOTHING racist about it from me, and I'd defy anyone to find ANYTHING racist about me. I don't care what color a person is. What I abhor is stupidity. THAT transcends races, creeds and colors. It should hurt, but it doesn't.

I think either you need to take a better read of what I wrote or I need to articulate it better.

It's simple. The fact that there is nothing racist about you is the point. There are others that there is something racist about them. The fact that you are not does not mean no one is (nor does it mean everyone is). They hide behind you with their messaging for legitimacy. It's not your fault and not much can be done about it. It makes it impossible to call racists racits because they are hiding behind non racists. They would be dumb not to. It doesn'r have to be race. It can be any issue.

All of a sudden their view is legitimate because you can't call them out on it. Folks panties get in a bunch and they start ranting about the black racists that voted for someone only because they are black.... which is true but then again not all black people voted for him and not all voted for him because he is black.... which is the same issue, you are correct.

It sucks to have less desireables latching on to your legitimate thoughts out of insincere convienience rather than true conviction like yours. It makes you (me) unintentionally defend them because you assume people are like you when often they are not, and that pisses me of. Add to that the other side leveraging that fact against you (by accusing you of being racist) and it doubly pisses me off.

You are incorrect in your assessment that I buy in to any of it or am trying to make hay out of clown shoes and race. it's an impossible conversation to have. because folks want all or nothing.

I apply the same to the pro gun issue. Unfortunately a subset (likely small) is hiding behind the legitimate message like these two scum bags.

Oh, no doubt there are plenty of people that don't like Obama just because he is half black. Look at some of the hate for Tiger Woods, it's no different, but most those people are slowly dying off, along with the race hustlers.

I'm also convinced, at this point in time, a lot of voters who voted for Obama, just because he is black, are unhappy and all those raciest thoughts they suppressed to vote for Obama are boiling back up. You really don't know someone until they are under a little stress.

For what it's worth, one look at his experience and his campaign policy statements told me everything I needed to know. It was bad enough to vote for the sorry offerings of that other worthless party.

Agreed Gene. Doesn't it piss you off though when scumbags latch on to legitimate messages like the two ci cis ****bags? I hate having scum like that associated with me or my thoughts, but it is inevitable regardless of subject.

As for tiger.... I never liked him. Not for racial reasons though although you are correct that is why some hate him. And those folks can hide behind me.

It does make me POed, broad brushing any group for the acts of a few is a classic for denigration, especially when they don't have a better answer.
