I think she IS a disgrace.

But that picture isn't what you think.
the people in the background are not raising hand to hear.
Heck, the military gal behind her isn't.

It wasn't the pledge nor anthem.

But she's still despicable. It helps the cause, however, to be accurate.

The Military girl could be saluting as she should but you could not see her right arm to know. This is not the first time the O's have dissed the flag, separately or together just to be accurate.

This isn't photo shopped, I found the exact same photo as released by whitehouse.gov, it was aboard he USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). Disgraceful nonetheless

It's not even comparable.

I'll say this, the eras were completely different. It may be simply because these days there's the internet, and that gives a voice to every fringe idiot out there, and encourages completely false rumors to spread like wildfire and encourages this blind hate...

But there's definitely a difference in how this first lady has been treated.

Actually, she's the first rock-star first lady.

If you go on Sally-Jesse or Oprah to fashion your new $50k dress, then you're fair game.
If you have a fat azz and want new federal laws to limit your Big Gulp intake, then you deserve to be made fun of.
Nancy took crap because of her "Just Say No" campaign, and nobody was shooting the messenger back then.
But today if you poke fun at the wookie people think you're a bigot or overly partisan. When in fact, she is a nuisance to our freedoms, she has openly dissed America, and she has an uncanny resemblance to Chewbacco. Or at least a big ewok. I can't decide which.

1 - I see no evidence that she spent $50,000 on a dress ever... but that's your defense for going after her?
2 - She doesn't really have a fat ass. Look at her body, this is not a woman carrying a lot of extra fat. She may have a big azz, but it's probably more muscle. I'd put her body up against most of the slobs wives here.
3 - I have no problem with giving her crap for the Big Gulp thing, same as Nancy Reagan... but I don't recall anyone calling Nancy a wookie, or fat, or ugly just because she wanted to take away our drugs.
