It's not ok to use enhanced techniques to gather intelligence that could save lives because it will create enemies, but drone strikes from 1000's of miles away that kills the target and may cause collateral damage are ok?

what's not ok is to use enhanced techniques to gather info on everyday people as if the loss of privacy would somehow ensure security.

In one instance someone is disarmed and in captivity, in the other they are about to lose their arms and other limbs.


once removed from the battle field the rules change. I don't think you can detain someone then bring in a drone to hit them.
