Looks like america's attention span has wavered once again to some other topic (look! A Squirrel!) but another video and some witness testimony adds more evidence to the idea that Brown did in fact have his hands up when he was shot.

this video is literally nothing and I don't want to lend it an ounce of credence, but, if you want to use it as evidence of something, the movements the construction worker is imitating is not of a man surrendering but of a man lifting his arms to taunt, as if to say "what are you gonna do?"

that's what he's doing with his arms...

if someone I just wrestled over a gun with came walking towards me doing what that construction worker was doing, I'm shooting...

There's a copy of a first edition volume of the Journal of Discourses transcribed by a witness in French where Elder Erastus Q. Zebulon taught that in order to be saved, Adam had to go to Kolob and sacrifice fifty of his wives, and so will we. Dude, what's up with that?

Do you guys see Mormonism as a legitimate faith or as more of a cult along the lines of Scientology? Just curious, I don't think I've ever known anyone who said they were Mormon. I know they are building an LDS temple in downtown Philly and as far as I know it's the first one. Looks amazing.

I went to Salt Lake City near BYU and the local influence was scary. Now I know how the Amish would feel in Las Vegas.....but the other way around.

Anyway, I figure the a religion is only a cult if they don't have enough head count.

a cult is bunch of people with no sense of them selves so they look for and find someone who talks person to person to god who tells him what god wants them to know and then they sit

around a campfire toasting marshmellows and finally they al commit suicide

Didn't Mormonism get it's start when Joseph Smith claimed that God dictated to him the Book of Mormon. An Angel named Moroni led Smith to a set of golden disc's containing the history of ancient America.... The first Book of Mormon had something like 2000+ errors in it and all this started in 1820. The guy used to put his face into a hat that had "seer stones" in it and he would keep his face in the hat until he received the next page...

Sounds to me like the only thing missing by your definition is the marshmallows. Pray
