Hey guys Nolen or (Shima) that was on the return addy has sent me looks like the first box pass from this but there is no rockets just cardboard like tissue rollers. Cacman let me know do I send it on or send it back too you?

WOW!! Everything else in there??? The cardboard role is the rocket minus the rest of the parts I believe.

Got the new box from Mountain man, took a quick peep in it (not sure if I'll be able to fit weapon's 5er in it, but I'll try later).

I'm going to try to get it out tomorrow.

Threw a recharged Boveda pack in the big bag. The Boveda pack in the small bag was still good.

Actually, the rest of us who were also in on the original pass would love to know the details on this as well. It's pretty amazing it turned up again, I'd be very interested on your forensics. Pro & Cac can fill in the blanks on receipt of Rodney's 411.

This was a thought I had at first as well. But just knowing now that it was just shipped , and no one came to the board with an explanation or even an announcement, tells me all I need to know of the sender's character.


I'm glad it showed back up. I hope the rocket is salvageable. And I hope the cigars haven't been left to the elements for 5 months, so that someone may enjoy them. (on a side note, I actually think I'd feel better if it looked like all the good one's had been smoked and replaced with junk, than to think all of the cigars were wasted due to negligence. )

I forgot to put the sharpie back in the box, noticed it this morning... my bad. d'oh!

The original lost Nolen package arrived today and the contents where in great shape!!! Multiple Boveda packs and pouch, including cutters, a torch lighter with butane, a cool Montecristo business card holder, and not forgetting the great selection of cigars. Many thanks to Puffnstuff79 from the wife for the box of LPH Black and Tan cigarillos. She loves those little infused cigarillos and smoked one right away. Fortunately the rocket tube with the signatures is useable, and all the signatures where on one tube!!! Thanks to danmdevries for including a complete rocket kit in the 2nd pass. The extra inner support tubes will help support the shape of the flattened tube, and extend the height to over 26" by adding the extra signature body tube.

shaun341 - We will mount 2 keychain cameras on the outside of the body - one facing up the other facing down. The hope is this will help balance the flight, and capture both views from launch to decent. Have launched a ton of rockets but never mounted cameras before. Will do my best to edit the video and add a soundtrack. Inspired by BuckyB93's post:

So thats crazy....Don't have much experience in this matter but person who last had is person that sent back?No one had to retrieve I guess is my question...Anyways thats great ...now 2boxes plus signatures...Let me reread how this works..I possibly may do...Im in md. For a cpl weeks atleast...where is box and what is approx schedule....???

Brief recap:
Original Box Pass stalled for awhile after it was delivered to Nolen.
danmdevries stepped-up, supplied cigars, a 2nd rocket kit, continued the Pass and gathering CBid signatures & cigars for the OpFTH.
Then after a long delay the original box pass was forwarded by Nolen, and finally returned home.
The 2nd Box Pass continues it's travels, and is open to anyone that wants to join in.
