Since season 1 was such a huge success and I have heard from many CBIDers that they would like to do it again, here we go.
Here are the details.......
An upfront buy in of 15 CBID level smokes. All buy ins will be collected upfront by me and posted on the league spreadsheet so make them good or else run the risk of being ridiculed.
We will play online 2 times a month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month for 6 months for a total of 12 games. We will use the current poker software (DD Poker) we use in our weekly games.
You will receive points after each game depending on where you finished based on a sliding scale. For example if we have 15 in the league and you finish in last place you will get 1 point. If you come in 14th place you will get 2 points and so on. The only difference being is that if you finish in first place you will receive a 3 point bonus for a total of 18 points.
Out of the 12 games only your top 10 scores will count towards the standings. This gives everyone a chance to miss 2 games without penalty. If you miss a game you will automatically receive 1 point for the "last place" finish and the next person out would receive 2 and so on.
I will keep a running tally of the standings and email everyone after each game so we all know where we stand so if you would like to play please send me your email address even if you have given it to me before. My PC recently crashed and burned and I lost all addys and email addresses.
At the end the top X places will be paid out based on the number of entries we have.
I say we need at least 10 to make this worth while.
